I have an account but hardly active on it. After reading the minute-by-minutes, doo-doo and doh-doh posts I realized I didn't care that much about what you had for lunch, you know? So beyond stalking your favorite celebrity, what is the benefit of Twitter?

I created an account a long time ago and at first it was addicting. Then I started to look at how much time I actually spent on it - and my house wasn't cleaning itself!
I am liking Pinterest - though I still don't know the ins and outs. I just click the button when I finish a hub and hope it does well.
It's been a while since I signed on with Twitter. I'm just trying to debate where my time is best spent. If you told me I would be doing this a year ago I might have laughed. Networking??? Internet presence??? SEO???
definitely it takes time but it is worthwhile and you get the benefits....
I believe anything is going to be time consuming. I guess I want the "most bang for the buck" I don't have ANY followers on twitter but I'm growing my network on LinkedIn, Pinterest and G+
I want more...time in the day??? LOL
So...what's the best way to find like-minded people on Twitter? I'm still learning the whole hashtag thing.
I admit I have not signed onto Facebook in almost a month and I don't miss it! People who spew hate-speak should have their networking devices confiscated and blocked until they learn how to play well with other kids.
I agree that it may have been super cool to be a part of the Arab Spring. It was truly enthralling - but being so distant, I had nothing to contribute but prayers and positive thoughts & why junk up the feed when a revolution was going on?
