Since some months, after the major changes done by Google, my computer is experiencing recurring problems and glitches in loading websites and files. Pages are not loading properly and double columns or triple columns appearing with photos, ads and texts unrelevant to the pages or duplication of the content in splits like patches here and there on the original content.. My son tells me Google Chrome is no more reliable and advises me again and again to switch to Firefox. But, I do not heed to him as I have been accustomed to Chrome since 3 years and do not want to desert it. Your opinion pl

Since I installed paid software for viruses and spyware,I noticed old problems seem to have disappeared.
Thanks for the reply, Audrey. I also want to retain this Chrome browser. That's why I am exploring all possibilities to keep it secured and working. I removed IE from my computer as it brought much virus and spam to my computer.
I clear my history every 10 days or 15 days. A year back I used to clear only after 3 months or so. But, when I experienced difficulties getting virus 6 months ago, I began clearing every 10 days and run malwarebytes also. The other AVG runs daily.
The problem is mostly with Hubpages. But, at times, it seems the pages mix up with other websites also occasionally. I hope it is something with Chrome browser and might be resolved by them soon.
Thanks for the reply.
That's true, Marie. I also trust Chrome and think the problems are not because of using Chrome but something else. I always used to work with Chrome keeping open 7, 8 windows and never had problems. Only since 5, 6 months these problems are happening
Thanks, Linda. I got Chrome uninstall and installed again some 3 months back. It was going okay. But, now it again happens. I have AVG antivirus and Malwarebytes. I should check Chrome version which was updated 2, 3 weeks ago.
I get virus scans regularly with Malwarebytes and AVG is a background running on my computer always. I have windows Firewall also on.
Thanks, Nielsen, for the reply and nice advice.
