The iPad is amazing. AMAZING. It's like having a computer you can carry around with you. That said, it simply doesn't replace a Kindle. The Kindle was made to mimic a book. It uses electronic ink, so the screen isn't back-lit. The iPad allows you to lessen the brightness of the screen, but it's still not good to stare at an iPad for prolonged periods. iPad is offers lot of exciting features and have a lot of really surprising functions.
