Best Computer Speakers Under 100

Updated on March 24, 2011

Nearly every PC includes some sort of default speakers, but they're invariably not very good. If you're looking to upgrade, there are plenty of alternatives available. If you’re using your computer for gaming, movies, or music than a quality speaker system is essential. These computer speakers featured on this Hubpages should provide huge upgrade in sound quality over most stock speakers.
Speakers have more personality than other audio components, and it's wise to take time in making your choice: hours, not minutes. Think of it as a romance, not speed-dating. Enjoy the trip!
Below are my 2 best picks for computer speakers costing less than $100!

M-Audio Studiophile AV30 Professional Reference Speakers

Firstly the build quality is just amazing. The voice output is very clear. The crisp sound is very pleasant to ears. This property is a very important for any good speaker and this quality can be found at its best in these speakers. The Studiophile AV 30 speakers allow you to get the most out of today's urban/dance music, movies, and video games. These speakers may not have the subwoofer-type bass, but it´s still quite good. Not perfect, but the average user won´t mind the difference probably.

M-Audio Studiophile AV30 speakers are on of the bestselling computer speakers on Amazon.com and these speakers have got 5 star rating from 61 customers. The product has 96 customer reviews, so getting 61 out of 96 is a pretty good achievement and that´s as close as you can get to a full customer satisfaction.

If you want reasonably high fidelity for a low price at your desk, and you don't need subwoofer-type bass response, I'd recommend these speakers.

Logitech Z-2300 THX-Certified 2.1 Speaker System with Subwoofer

Although this costs few bucks over 100 dollars, I just couldn´t leave it out, because of the extra 10 bucks you will get a lot of quality. This is the best product in it´s price range. It has extra deep bass for your enjoyment. It also features the SoundTouch™ remote, which gives you complete control over your listening experience.

These speakers are quite loud. Be careful not to damage your hearing with these. I really see no point in turning the master volume past 40% and the sub past 25%.The only minus with this product is that you can´t turn the subwoofer down to 0%, so you can´t bypass it, but you can change your EQ setting(it´s very easy to do in windows media player).

For the price these computer speakers are a steal. In the price range of 50-150 these speakers are the definite winners, no contest even. These speakers would be the best computer speakers under 100, if the price would be a buck or two smaller. These computer speakers are highly recommended.
