Best Emergency Auto Jumpstart Kit

Updated on April 5, 2013

Car Emergency Battery Kit

Emergency auto jumpstart kits are a must if you drive a lot especially in odd areas or times. Having a car breakdown in a deserted place with nobody to turn to for help can be realy scary. Sometimes a car battery will just not start for any given reason and can leave you stranded.

I have had this happen to me more then once and it just is not fun. Yes I could call someone but then I would have to depend on someone else and I would have to wait on them. Having an emergency auto jump start kit is a cheap way to know that I can be independent if my battery dies.

Plus who wants to ask a bunch of strangers for help starting a car when you can just as easily do it yourself. My favorite kits are the ones that come with an air compressor too, because filling up a tire is so much easier then changing the tire out.

The best emergency auto jumpstart kits normally include jumper cables and jumpstarters that should always be in your trunk no matter where you go.

Best Rated Car Emergency Battery Kit for Personal Use

The Care battery emergency kit is easy to use and comes with instructions on the side so you are not looking for the instructions when needing to use them. All you do is pop the hood and connect the battery with the charger and let sit for a few minutes and your car will be ready to go.

How To Charge A Car Battery in Side the Car

I have to admit that at first I was afraid to mess with underneath the hood, thank goodness I am not the only one. These cool emergency battery chargers charge you car battery from inside your car, all you have to do is plug it into your car lighter for about ten minutes. A great product for those that do not want to worry about having to restart a car or to pop the hood. In some situations popping the hood is not the safest, this would be a great alternative because no one would have to know your car was not starting.

The down side to this type of battery charger for a car is that it only works if you just drained the battery by leaving a light on for to long or something similar. If your car battery is really far gone you will need to pop the hood and get a real jump start.

The inside the car charger is not for everybody but it does serve a great perpose and is small enough that it barely takes up any space at all.

Car Charger Kit That Will Also Air Up Your Tires

This is a gift that I have deeply considered getting for my mother. Not only does this portable charger help with batteries that need charging it will also air up a tire.

The price is more then the other basic car chargers and a bit more space consuming but I really think this will be a great tool to have in a trunk of a car or in back of a truck. For nothing else it will be a great tool to have so you can help friends air up tires or charge their cars without a lot of effort or time.

I've got one of these in my car and have used it MANY times! It has given me peace of mind, because I hated having to approach strangers to get help with jumping my car. Now, I don't have to because I no longer need another car :)

A word of advice to anyone who gets one of these - If your car doesn't start up right away, leave the battery connected to your car for about 10 minutes, then try again. Sometimes a really drained car battery needs longer to juice up from a portable battery. There was only one time when my car wouldn't start and I had to call AAA. The AAA rep told me I needed to wait longer, about 10 minutes, using my battery.
