Use a Tabletop Photo Studio Kit to Help Sell Online

Some may call me a shopaholic. I like to discover new things that improve my life! I love providing real & honest reviews to help others.

I sell things online all the time, from small electronics to furniture, clothing to jewelry and accessories. If you’re anything like me, you take pride in what you present to potential buyers. I always make sure not only to take pictures, but to take good pictures.

I’m the type of person that will pass up an item I’m looking to buy if the pictures of the item are just not good; it makes me feel like the seller isn't really that interested in making a sale or is hiding something. If I’m looking for something on Craigslist and there’s a post with a description but no picture, I move on. If I’m looking for something to buy on eBay and the auction pictures are dark or blurry, I move on. That's just me!

The way I see it, if you really want to sell me something, you should put a little bit of care and effort into it – be a salesperson. Maybe that’s being too harsh, but that’s my story and I’m stickin’ to it! Pictures are important. I just don’t know why people place sale ads without pictures – I would never buy from that person! Would you?

Take Quality Pictures of Your Sale Items

When I set out to photograph my items for sale, I like to take quality pictures, so I try and find the room with the best light and least amount of distraction. Sometimes I’ll use a solid colored blanket or sheet as a backdrop, but there’s hassle involved with stretching it out and finding a way to hold it up, etc. Sometimes that’s difficult, and that’s why I love this product: Tabletop Photo Studio.

Tabletop Photo Boxes

These complete systems provide optimal lighting and a clean background, which allows you to create professional-looking photographs using your own camera. It is ideal for photographing objects for online auctions / listings or to have for insurance records, just in case!

To provide contrast, some studios include multiple different backdrops in different colors. Some even include a tripod and lights with the box. You cannot go wrong with this product to get great looking photos of objects, whether for personal reasons or to sell your items.

Tabletop Light Tent

The Image Maker Light Tent Kit is made specifically for photographing objects to sell on Ebay or elsewhere online. The tent creates a soft evenly lit environment without shadows or glare, even when photographing shiny objects such as glass and ceramics.

Seamless Background

The curved nature of these backgrounds creates a soft, seamless backdrop for your photos. No need to edit out seams that you may get in your photos with the photo boxes. Of course, this hard ABS plastic does not fold for storage like the boxes and tents do.

Professional Tabletop Photo Studios

If you're looking for a more high-end option professional tabletop studio, look no further.

MyStudio products are designed to give you high quality, professional photos at an affordable price.

You don't have to be a professional photographer to use these; amateurs can create terrific photos without much effort when using one of these.

If you are an Ebay Power Seller, this would be a very useful investment that may make listing your products a whole lot easier.

Nice write up. One of my jobs was an eBay photographer for a networking company and our tabletop photo studio went a long way. A few PVC pipes and elbows, toss in some duct tape and a clean white sheet with one or two lamps and you can get some great shots.
