Canon EOS Rebel T3 Digital SLR

Updated on July 3, 2013

Canon EOS Rebel T3 for great photos

No, this is not my photo. I'm sorry if I fooled you. But this kind of photos I would like to take. And that's why I decided I have to buy better digital camera.

The one I have now is pretty good, and I was pleased with it for about four years, but now it is time to move on.

I'm pretty much sure that Canon Eos Rebel T3 is going to be my next digital camera.

I have liked photography and taking photos since I was teenager. I had few photo cameras, but most of them were compact, point and shoot digital cameras.

About a year ago I started to think maybe it is time to buy something better, maybe DLSR camera to be more independent. And as a beginner I don't think I need something very expensive.

Here you can see one of my photos with apples. It is quite nice and I can improve my photos with software like GIMP, but I want more.

This is my apple photo (Image by Pippi2011).

And then I saw this photo on flickr.com and I liked it very much. And the first thing I did was to check out which camera was it taken with.

This is the photo I would like to take. I think it looks great. It is what photo really is. Now.

Usually these cameras are quite expensive, around 1.000 dollars or more, and are far too expensive for me.

The camera was Canon Eos Rebel T3. I checked on Amazon.com how much it costs, and surprise surprise, it was not so expensive at all.

I think it is affordable and it has very good reviews, more than 200 five star reviews and happy customers.

You can take amazing photos with this camera.

Canon EOS Rebel T3 video review

Of course there are same stuff I have to buy with it, like bag, second objective, maybe tripod, maybe a book or two, but if I'll have luck I'll get all these in special package like this below.

Or I'll even wait until Black Friday and see if I'll get any discount.

This camera is very easy to use.

The reason I want to buy not so expensive DSLR camera is that I really don't know how will it go. Will I like it at all?

I'll find out what else do I need when I'll use it and I think it is better to do it with cheaper camera.

Photos shot with DSLR camera have exactly what I want - they really take a picture in a moment.

With my point and shot camera I always have to wait for about two to three seconds until the lenses get ready. I have 10x optical zoom and I almost always use flash and that is probably the reason it takes more time to prepare.

But I want my photos to be taken right away, because kids run off and birds and butterflies fly away.

There are so many DSLR cameras, even not so expensive ones, and it was hard for me to decide which one to choose. I accually even didn't know how much optical zoom is there with 15-55 mm objective.

Then they told me in a photo shop it is about 3x optical zoom. Will that be enought? Or will I need another objective, 55-250 mm or 75-300 mm?

And another reason to buy DSLR camera is that I'm thinking about selling photos online too, but I think point and shot camera isn't good enought for that.

For now I decided to buy Canon Rebel and after I learn few things I'll buy new one if I'll need it.

Reviews say that I can buy great quality digital camera for my money. But I have to see it myself.

I really hope I'll like this camera and I'm looking forward to my new photos.

If you have the T3, how do you find it? I'm looking at the T4 which has been recently released, as an entry into the DSLR range. But I'm having trouble deciding on lenses! Thanks for a good look at the T3!
