Computer Wrist Support Products That Help
Ergonomic Wrist Rest For Keyboard And Mouse
All of us working long hours at the computer need adequate computer wrist support - be it in the form of "gloves" such as the ones shown here, wrist pads, wrist rests, keyboard wrist support and all the other new ergonomic wrist support products that are available to us today to help avoid painful problems such as carpal tunnel syndrome.
We are always performing long tasks at the keyboard and for the most part without a healthy rest of our wrist. I bet you're also one of us who simply sits in front of that screen typing away - either by working, chatting or playing games for hours at no end.
Sadly that can put an unhealthy strain on the wrist that can cause all sorts of serious injuries and related problems.
Gloves And Wrist Wraps
Imak Computer Glove (Pack of 2)
The Imak brand is well known for its wrist support products such as arthritis gloves and computer gloves. This particular design shown here is in fact a set of 2 gloves that provide great support for your wrist while typing. If you're working on a desktop pc, you know how hard the surface (usually table) below it is. And if you're working on your laptop, the pc glove helps protect your wrist from the laptop heat.
However its best feature is that it provides protection from the dreaded Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, which is something that all of us who work countless hours at the computer really dread.
I love to play computer games for long hours and that can strain the wrist too much. These gloves really help protect it. My hands are no longer number and it's much easier for me to be around my pc pretty much the whole day (during the day working and in the night playing online RPG games).
When To Get A Computer Wrist Support

Wellgate for Women Slimfit Wrist Support
Wellgate Wrist Support GloveThis is another great brand that protects you from carpal tunnel syndrome, wrist sprains & strains, arthritis and tendonitis. It holds the wrist in a comfortable and correct position and it allows for working at the computer (or even writing with a pen) for several hours without strain.
However please note: this is for women only and for right hand only! It is one size fits all and it's extremely adjustable.
To clean this glove you simply immerse it in cold water and wash it by hand with mild soap. Dry it by air, not by clothes drier.
Mueller Wrist Brace With Splint
Mueller Wrist Brace With SplintIf you do have carpal tunnel syndrome or you have a damaged wrist, then you need something to help heal your wrist the fastest way possible.
This is what this wrist brace does. It helps keep the wrist in a fixed position (which is needed for healing) and it's quite comfortable to wear. In fact you can easily sleep with this brace during the night and you won't feel a thing.
Btw, do not work with this brace, it's really for helping you to heal your wrist when it's already damaged.
Smart Glove with Thumb Support
Another great product by Imac, this glove with thumb support has beads that cushion and give protection to the underside of your wrist. Quite comfortable and not stiff at all, you can easily work with this glove at your computer.
People with arthritis seem to love this glove particularly due to the support given to the thumb.
CarpalMate Professional Carpal Wrist Support
This is another wonderful wrist support that is recommended for anyone working serious hours on the computer. It holds the wrist in a lifted, neutral position while still allowing full finger movement. The actual wrist wrap is quite wide and rather stable, so it can provide real good support to your wrist.
It helps keep your wrist from having too much pressure applied to it when typing or using the mouse non-stop for a long time. Recommended!
Keyboard Wrist Pads
3M Gel Wrist Rest
The 3M keyboard wrist pad helps remove arthritis pain, along with the pain coming from working too many hours at the computer. You can attach it to any keyboard and it will be very comfortable to use. Filled with gel it helps give adequate support to your wrist without being too hard. The gel helps actually keep your wrists ergonomically placed in the right alignment that is healthy for working long hours at a pc.
One of its great features is the "leatherette" portion at the top which helps keep any stains or dirt invisible. In fact the cover features antimicrobial protection to inhibit the growth of bacteria and other microorganisms.
Fellowes Memory Foam Wrist Rest
Fellowes Memory Foam Wrist RestHere is another popular wrist rest that people who use the keyboard a lot prefer. It helps keep the hand in the right ergonomical position that doesn't tire the wrists at all. It has a grippy backing as the bottom, but it's not adhesive, which helps move along the keyboard the right way. Btw, this works for straight keyboards, not for the curvy ergonomic ones.
While it has memory foam inside, it's much harder than that - in fact it's hard enough to help you keep your wrist the right way for all the time you're at your pc.
Handstands Beaded Ergonomic Keyboard Wrist Rest
Handstands Beaded Ergonomic Keyboard Wrist RestThe ergonomic bead wrist rest is a lightweight, durable wrist rest. Its fits all popular keyboards and gently massages hands & wrists. Offers optimal comfort and support. The good thing about this pad is that it is also suitable for the wavy ergonomic keyboards, which makes it more user friendly than the previous ones.
If other types of wrist rests failed you, give this wrist pad a chance!
Grifiti Keyboard Wrist Pad Pink
Grifiti Keyboard Wrist Pad PinkThis wrist pad is not only healthy but also fun, one that girls will especially love. It has a nice fat wrist rest area, which makes it a wide wrist pad for extreme comfort while typing away on the keyboard. Btw the color is a tad bit darker than the one shown here, and it's definitely not neon!
It promotes an ergonomic, neutral wrist position while typing and it fits all regular keyboards (the straight models.)

Mouse Pads With Wrist Support
Belkin WaveRest Gel Mouse Pad
Mouse pads with wrist support are another great invention that can only help us get wrist pain relief and make it easier on us all, computer 'fanatics' enjoy our time at the pc more.
This particular mouse pad with gel wrist rest is such a product. It easily molds to your own wrist for that perfect support, and it gives a great tracking surface for your mouse. Once you stop using the mouse, it goes back to its original shape due to the gel within. Can be used with any mouse, including the more difficult to use laser mouse.
Innovera Gel Mouse Pad with Wrist Rest
Innovera Gel Mouse Pad with Wrist RestThis is another great mouse pad with wrist support with gel inside for great comfort. If you have any kinds of wrist injuries, this is the perfect mousepad to get at a very low price. I think Amazon has right now a sale going on for this that brings it to just barely above $10.
It's a high quality mousepad and what I like about it is that has a large area for your mouse to work on. Some mouse pads are quite narrow, and before long you find your mouse going out of the pad, which is quite annoying. Not with this one. The wrist rest is firm, but not overly so, just perfect, I'd say.
When Using A Wrist Rest...
the arms, wrists, and hands should form a straight line, in both height and angle.
ImakNon-Skid Mouse Pad with ergoBeads
ImakNon-Skid Mouse Pad with ergoBeadsA fun and comfortable mouse pad with integrated ergoBeads for maximum effect by Imak. While my favorites are still wrist rests with gel, this mouse pad is actually quite good, my brother has this very model. When you put your wrist on it, it feel like you have some gel-beads inside which mould nice after your wrist.
Really a comfy mouse pad if you're looking for something new that actually helps your wrist for long hours at the pc. And for $10, it's not even expensive.
3M Large Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist Rest
3M Large Mouse Pad with Gel Wrist RestThe 3M products are by default high quality made by a well know innovative brand. So is the case with this gel wrist rest mouse pad. As I mentioned before I prefer mouse pads with a large surface area, and this one doesn't disappoint. You have quite a lot of place to maneuver around with your mouse, even when playing computer games.
As it is filled with gel (another of my favorite features in such a mousepad), the resting area is hard, but not extremely hard, just perfect for keeping your wrist in the proper position and giving it the comfort it needs while it also helps with the correct wrist movement.
