The Eee PC and me

Updated on March 21, 2015

My Eee goes everywhere with me

I just love my Eee!

I love it for the quality of its build, for its tiny size, for its wireless capability, for its skype set-up with built-in camera and especially for its .92g weight. It's ultra-portable.

I slip it into my handbag or into a side pocket of my backpack and don't even notice it's there. It's less than a kilo and sometimes I think my keys weigh more.

My Eee is also my favourite fashion accessory!

My Eee is so small - Especially next to my desktop

A mini laptop

It's a hit with students

Twice a week I take a bus into the Queen Victoria Market and along the route is Melbourne University. The mini laptops sported by the students fascinated me. I had to get one too!

No wonder the students like the eee - perfect for note taking, research and possibly the odd online game during a tedious lecture. The modem is the size of a felt pen and slips into a side USB port.

You can get a lot of notes into 12gb of storage capacity and 1gb of RAM. I like the XP too - please save me from Vista.

My Daughter Loves my Eee - Alrhough she would prefer a pink one

My eee would fit into her handbag quite nicely if I didn't keep a sharp eye on it!

The little Eee

The little eee is everything it claims to be: a sleek little notebook with solid features, exceptional battery life, and a very simple out-of-the-box setup.

I can SEE my Eee

My friends use their phones to pop in and out of facebook, send a tweet or two and check their email. My trouble is being able to see my phone!

My Eee is just the very best size possible for me. It's small enough (and light enough) to carry in my bag all day, the keyboard is the right size for my fingers and, let's face it, some of my friends paid more for their phones than I paid for my eee.

Everyone loves my Eee - My friends try my Eee for size

You can take my Eee anywhere outside, like a bench in the courtyard or under a tree in the backyard.

The Eee was originally intended for children and beginners to computing, but not any more! ASUS has shipped over a million Eee PCs to people just like me.

My cat loves my Eee

It's very popular in my house

My cat loves my Eee too. It's just his size

In truth, Vladimir loves to watch bird videos on my Eee, but if you're curious as to his writing capability yes, he does run his own blog, use my phone to take photos and writes on the Squidoo platform

Pop over and say Hi to Vladi

My Eee can travel!

Here's the trusty Eee in my little room in Pompei Nuova, under the shadow of Vesuvio

How about you?

Do you think mini computers are the way to go?

Leave a mini or maxi message for me - All comments are much appreciated

I like these mini PCs but I couldn't do the Internet on a mobile phone like some people. Thanks for all your comments on my lenses by the way.

I want one of these. I was seduced into buying a laptop with an 18.6" screen (cos it was all shiny).... and I can't take it anywhere!

This does look wonderful especially to take on trips. From you description, it looks like you could do just about anything on it. Pretty cool! I haven't seen that computer before.

      Great lens
