35 facts your mates wouldn't know!

Updated on February 14, 2013

Purpose of this piece of work

I recently had a good discussion with a few mates wherein we wondered what the most common name in the World was. I knew the answer to that one, but that followed a row of other questions, the answers to some of which weren't known to me. I later searched online for websites with some fun, lesser known facts which you could throw up on your mates in a casual conversation or with your manager at lunch time. I did find some, but most of the stuff I found was boring stuff in my view. I therefore collected some interesting 1-2 line facts which might show up in search engines and come to the aid of someone like me. I know that a lot you would already know some/most of it. Well, reading it again would reinforce what you already know. But if there's someone who knew ALL of it, I would be rather surprised to know it. So comment and let me know! Hope you enjoy the page.
