I have run into similar problems having lived both in the US and abroad. One thing you could try is to use an IP proxy. You will notice that if you are in Australia you will be blocked by sites such as Hulu and other web services intended for those in the US. By using a proxy when using the internet you will be assigned a US IP address. There are many proxy services out there primarily for citizens outside their geographic IP zone that will allow them to watch internet TV from afar. For example a UK citizen living in China using a proxy website would then be able to watch BBC online content intended for UK citizens. Search "IP Proxy website" in your favorite search engine and try one that works best for you, some are better than others.

Search engines like natural back links. So what will happen if I keep on creating back links using the same machine with the same IP address. Will search engines be able to track this down and will my page rank reduce?
