    How do you convert a file from pdf to Word?

    I've seen that there are some downloads for converters, but my guess is that there's an easier way.  Is there a way of simply clicking on something on Word or on Adobe?

    Are there any free options?  I know I can cut and paste, but the result isn't what I'm looking for.

    You can choose an online converter if you do not want to install anything. It works this way; you upload the pdf, they process, you download the word. Be aware, however, that technically the file is given to them so who knows if they have also kept a copy?

    Well even if you tried to change the file extension by specifying 'Save as' then saving the file as a '.docx' Microsoft Word may not transfer or convert the contents properly. Your best bet would be a free online converter. No software to install, the conversion is done quick and seamlessly straight through the browser window. You can then choose to either download the file direct or email a copy to your inbox.

    Here are two options that should suit your needs;

    Hmm, maybe you could try to copy the pdf by "selecting all" then pasting into word. It may not work with all pdfs, esp protected ones. If it does work, you may lose some formatting or photo's. sad
