    Hi

Please state your most favorite browser and explain briefly why it is better than others?

I still prefer Mozilla Firefox due to wide availability of useful add-ons and high security.

Currently, I am using both Firefox as well as Internet Explorer. However, I prefer Firefox, its features as well as plug-ins are really good. Not only are there add-ons to customize Firefox, but there are other built in features and tools that allow you to customize and use Firefox in a way you like it. It is better in security and privacy; high performance; greater personalization .

I notice Firefox tends to be the preferred choice among those in IT and people who working in the tech sector.  Thanks for the comment, I think maybe I'll check it out

    Firefox all the way!

With regards to writing online, Firefox makes it a lot easier.  I downloaded a theme that shrinks the menu bars, which gives me a lot more room to work.  Then got a nifty little notes add-on, so I always have notepad handy.  And then, there's always SEOQuake - one of the best SEO add-on's that have ever existed.

I just think that Firefox is extremely versatile, and very secure.  I've never once had a problem with this browser.

I love firefox. From my observation, it's a faster browser compared to Internet Explorer. Firefox is safer and secure, and I don't have issues with it.

    Ditto here.
I was a diehard IE gal until I started having problems on one of the sites I do a lot of work on (oDesk). Their IT folks suggested a switch to Firefox. Voila. No more problem!
    Now I'm a convert.

I have to say that I'm a Chrome user all the way! The speed of it is simply unmatched by any other browser currently out there. Although it doesn't have as many add-ons as Firefox, I feel that the speed more than makes up for the lack of extensions.

I am a Chrome user it is a wonderful browser and very quick! IE8 user too! Firefox no way, do not care much for that browser at all, I can neer seem to get on-line quickly nor does it bring up the page promptly.

Interesting commentary I'm seeing here. With a few manual changes under the hood, adjustments to customize Firefox number in the thousands, and it's easily faster to load previously visited websites than other browsers when tweaked correctly.

It used to be Internet Explorer but now I've been using Firefox and I'm happy more now. I just like it..... really I don't know why...... And for Google chrome, I have some really bad experience with that. Every time the page used to get crashed. That was really annoying. I never wished to try it again. So, for me Firefox is the best.

Firefox, without a doubt, I tried Chrome because I like how there's a lot of open space, and not many toolbars, but firefox is still just so much more useful for me.

Google Chrome works well, not only can I customize the way it works, but access to tool bars, bookmarks, and certain settings make it one of my favorites.

I use Chrome because I find it to be fast and clean, but I was a big fan of Firefox shortly after I started here. I was on Windows Vista then and it was such a God-awful platform that even Firefox struggled to work properly.
Now on Windows 7 but still prefer the speed of Chrome, especially when I have a shaky internet access speed.
Ask me again if I ever get landline ADSL.

For someone like me that loves to browse with 10+ tabs open, Chrome is better, since it uses a lot less resources to do this.

Firefox for sure. It is fully tweakable for being open source, it has the whole community with the eyes and hands on it, the highest amount of add-ons, and it's a standards-friendly web browser.

    Internet Explorer...

Firefox runs slow on my PC, IE doesn't run on Linux, Opera lacks a lot of functionality, which leaves me with my only option Google Chrome.
