iPhone 6 Black Friday deals at Sam’s Club, Walmart, Target and Best Buy

Updated on November 22, 2014

Titan U.S. stores Sam’s Club, Walmart, Target and Best Buy are offering iPhone 6 with discounts. The holiday sale is in the corner and many people are waiting for the Black Friday big shopping event to get hold of iPhone 6.

Introduced big time in September, Apple’s new smartphone still have to hurdle some obstacles to succeed its launch as it still faces high demand and out of stock issues, such as the Space Gray and 64GB models being unavailable sometimes. Many consumers already have the iPhone 6, and others patiently wait for it to be part of the big holiday sale. Even those who own the new iPhone still wait for this month’s big sale as they want to have another unit for their family and loved ones for Christmas.

Sam’s Club is the first one who offered the iPhone 6 with a $100 off in limited quantities on November 15. It puts Apple’s flagship at $99 for the 16GB model with a two-year contract. The limited promotion will also offer the 64GB variant at $199 and the 128GB at $299. That is $100 off the regular $199, $299 and $399 prices with two-year contracts for iPhone 16GB, 64GB and 128GB variants, respectively. Each location of the big-box wholesaler will have limited units, around 40 to 50 per club, and certain outlets may only have the 16GB model. The promotion will be up to December 31. The sale price is only honored in the store.

The big-box wholesaler’s sister company Walmart and its rivals Target and Best Buy are not to be left behind by offering iPhone 6 with discounts too. Walmart offers iPhone 6 16GB at $179, instead of the usual $199, thus, the $20 off. Those who buy an iPhone 6 or iPhone 5s (for $79) will get a $75 gift card, so that makes a $95 total savings.

Target’s deal for iPhone 6 16GB is also $179 but the gift card it is giving away is $30. On the other hand, Best Buy offers the new iPhone at $100 off deal with the use of a trade in gift card.

Sam’s Club offer for iPhone 6 comes less than 60 days after the new flagship iPhone debuted. It is the first to give price cuts for iOS devices this year. While Sam’s Club and Walmart are leading in the iPhone 6 sale, more stores are expected to follow suit until Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Many third party resellers offered Apple’s smartphones, tablets and Mac on sale last year for the Christmas season.

The holiday shopping season in the U.S. usually starts on Black Friday, a day after Thanksgiving. Many stores slash off prices of popular items, including Apple devices to attract customers. Black Friday 2014 falls on November 28.
