Kindle Fire Covers for Kids Who Drop Things
Top Kindle Covers for Girls and Boys
I love seeing kids with a Kindle.
It means they are reading and learning and growing.
It also means the Kindle cover should be sturdy and protect the Kindle Fire from the bouncing, dropping and major "thuds" a kid can put it through. You want to protect the Kindle Fire--after all, you paid more for it, didn't you?
I started hunting for covers and cases for one of my nephews. You remember Wes, he's the fighter pilot that loves pancakes.
I came up with all kinds of possibilities. Of course, I did not limit myself to Fire covers for boys only...I was thinking about my "kid self", too.
Take a look below and see if you find anything appealing.
TOUGH Cases for All Kinds of Kids
This color works for boys and girls.
Tough as in "let's drop this thing to see if it breaks" tough.
I have young nephews--7, 9 and 10---who use the i-Blason cases for their Kindles. My sisters love them. Plus the colors are cool.
A Kindle Fire Cover Story
I wasn't going to rat out my nephew Wes, but what they heck, lol. What doesn't kill'em, or you, makes everyone stronger.
The real reason I started looking for a Kindle case for my nephew is that he has gone through several ereaders so far--cheap ones thank goodness. He has been forced to keep his latest reader at home and not take it places because that seems to be when the damage occurs--those zip cases with no padding or support are no good.
So I took it upon myself to find the toughest cover I could and buy it for him. Actually, I think I am going with the Gumdrop cover in the green and then I will find a VERY PADDED zip-up case to put it in.
Yup, that's Wes, to the right, in motion. No wonder he breaks e-readers, lol.

Just so you know he's a hard worker, here's a pic of Wes studying.
His favorite class is English---he loves words, just like his auntie.
He's taking a spelling test for his homework assignment. He gets to use his ereader AFTER his homework is done.

Travellor Covers - Lots of Colors and Color Combinations
Bright and colorful, these shock absorbing Kindle cases may just be the ticket for a kid's Kindle Fire case. The manufacturer claims it protects the Kindle Fire tablet against dust, sand, rain, wind, drops, vribration and other elements.
This case is perfect for anyone who is clumsy and lets things slip through their hands--kids and adults!
A Certified "Made for Kindle" accessory that will only fit NEW KINDLE FIRE HDX 7'' (2013 model).
Amazon users love this case designed to take lots of shocks. The construction of the cover does this by absorbing the trauma through the different layers built into the cover. The corners are sorta like rubber bumpers.
Add a Decal for More Personality
They can help deflect scratches, dents and dings. And, decals are the fastest and least expensive way to revamp and personalize a Kindle Fire and make it kid friendly.
A kid can change them out as they desire or you can make them the big treat or reward.
I chose a few favorites but really, take a look yourself--could solve the never ending "I want" issue.
