My Easy Jitterbug Cell Phone
Finally A phone I Can See And Use
I am writing today on my cell phone the Jitterbug. Anyone who has trouble with numbers and cell phone's should take a look at this phone. I am in my motorhome and getting ready to call my son. My husband got sick and we needed to have my son or daughter pick him up. My husband had an old track phone, and I had no phone. My daughter wanted me to borrow her cell phone, but truthfully I could never figure it out. I am a 1960s child and not only never really figured it out but I really never cared about cell phones or computers. I remember when all this started I knew then I was in trouble.
I finally found the camp host motorhome, and they invited me in. I told him I need to use his phone. He told me I must have forgot my charger. If this guy only knew what I was thinking. I told the man I needed to call my daughter. He pointed to the phone and it was a landline phone. The year was 2009 and I knew changes were coming for me real soon.
My daughter and her boyfriend came and picked us up from the campground. We all ended up at the hospital that night.
I knew I never wanted to be in this position again. At that moment I wished I had a phone so I could call my son.. The phone would be very convenient while staying at the hospital.
Three weeks later I was on the phone with the Great call company. I bought two phones. Before I bought them I read about them in the AARP book. You thought I was going to say computer but I did not have one. The Phone was delivered at my home in a few days. I got the grey one for my husband and the red for me.
The Jitterbug is a very exceptional phone. The feature I love the most is I can read this in the dark. My eyes have really gotten bad this past year so this phone is a blessing. Other features are the numbers are large enough to read. I can take photos and send them to my son. The phone gives me and my husband 200 minutes of long distance calling This phone keeps us connected to our family. My kids would be embarrassed but I'm going to keep my Jitterbug. I can play games on this phone and they are fun especially when I play them with my 8 year old granddaughter.
1 .Necessary A new feature the phone can add the option of #5 for any emergency you may have for a few dollars more
2. Convenient you can now connect to police and ambulance.
4.Connected to the family
Overall, why didn't I give in to my husband and get a cell phone? I was stubborn, we needed one. A day latter I got my first computer and so it began the new world. I am so amazed by the young people and how smart they are with computers, cell phones, smartphones and tablets. I would recommend the Jitterbug by Samsung to everyone.

Why Would People With Parkinson Buy This Phone?
The phone is very easy to use with one hand. When I get the tremors real bad I can use my other hand. I can not do this with other phones. Once I flip the top open with my thumb I see everything on the screen real clear it is large enough. The time and the day are large enough for me to read. I use to take all this little stuff for granted, but not anymore. Remembering dates is now a hard thing for some people with this disease.
I can dial the phone, take a photo, or play a game and only use my thumb. My photos come out beautiful. The picture is sharp and very clear. My kids are really impressed with the camera on the phone. We went on a camping to Fort Clinch and one of the kids wanted to take a photo of a skate that was on the dock. They asked for a camera, and I gave them a phone. Grandma got her revenge back, they said they did not know how to work this phone. I wanted to say, that's how I felt. I showed him how he got a beautiful picture.
The phone can give me live weather updates. I can get sports scores, stocks, but the best feature for me is the urgent response. The response is 24 hrs. 7 day a week. I use to fall a lot so this is important for me. I can reach an operator anytime.
For my husband the phone is great because the phone is rated for people like him who wear a hearing aid. My husband likes that he can hear out of his phone. He keeps his speaker on loud. We both like that the phone has the longest battery we could find.
I can take my phone with me and know I can find help anywhere any time and not have to stay at home. When people get Parkinson its not the tremors it's the confusion that is the worst, the jitterbug can help with this problem.
