My Journey On Sponsored Tweets

Updated on June 29, 2013

Getting Paid To Tweet

Sponsored Tweets is a great website which allows people to make money on Twitter. I talk about all of my ops in progress, approved, and yanked. I won't tell you who the advertisers are, but I'll tell you the price for my tweet. In order to use Sponsored Tweets in its highest potential, I must get a following, and I'll be talking about that too.

What Is Sponsored Tweets?

Sponsored Tweets is a place where advertisers come to you and give you money to tweet their tweet. The cash threshold is an incredible $50, and for some people, it is hard to get $50, and if you have more than $2, you can withdraw early with a $2 fee. However, once you get a lot of followers on Twitter, you can get paid big money from Sponsored Tweets like this celebrity. Sponsored Tweets is a great place to make money online, but you need the Twitter followers first.

You must have patience when using Sponsored Tweets. Sometimes, I get 2 opportunities (ops) in 1 day, but then I could go a couple of days without an op.

The First Op

I had no idea what I was doing for the first op. I thought I could tweet about whatever I want. The sad news was that the op was $0.10 per click which was great at the time. However, I got yanked. Then, I got another op for only $0.02 per click. I was still satisfied, and I am happy to have taken the op.

Repeat Offers

Now that I've established myself with over 1,000 followers on Twitter, advertisers who accepted my tweets came back for more. I had to change them up a little bit, so all I really did was add hashtags which is changing the tweet but making it easier to find. All of the repeat offers have been approved, and now I have almost $0.20 waiting for me.

First Sale!

Someone bought a tweet from me for $1.20 on Sponsored Tweets! I was delighted to have received guaranteed money from the sponsor instead of the pay per click option. Now I have $1.22 in my Sponsored Tweets account with $0.34 pending.

Another Offer Complete!

Now that I have more Twitter followers, I have raised my price to $1.25 per tweet. I got notified quickly that my tweet was approved, and now I have over $2 combined pending and approved. I will be raising the price per tweet to $1.30 once I see that I can keep my Twitter followers.
