Roku LT Streaming Player - Review

Roku LT Streaming Player First Look

I have purchase the Roku LT about 2 weeks ago from Amazon and i have been so impressed with it. I have primarily been using the Instant Video's from Amazon along with Crackle and Pandora or streaming. I needed to get a device that could stream in HD because my laptop decided to break on me last week. The Roku LT Player was recommended to me and fulfills all the requirements I needed along with the added bonus that I am able to connect the Roku LT to my Amazon account and watch all my purchases and use the account as if i was on my laptop.

I do love being able to see what is available to watch and having access to all my prime content from such a little thing. The remote will not let you add content as fast as a laptop or PC would but I can get over that. The interface and menu are so simple to navigate that it feels like fun when I'm doing it which is what I like and what make the Roku LT Streaming Player and ace product.

Going back onto the setup for the Roku LT it is very simple and there is no on/off switch so all you need to do is connect it all up and then plug in the HD cable then connect to your home WIFI and setup an account and add the channels you want. There is also a large quantity of free channels on the Roku LT Player along with channels you have to pay for or join up to but maybe there is a hack on the net for this?.

Whilst browsing i did manage to find stuff like tips on cooking, fitness videos, and obviously movies/music/TV and even a Facebook app and so weather app and i think you can even add apps but i need to look into this as i may be wrong. The standard Netflix and Lovefilm account are there which is great along with YouTube and other large and well known websites on the net.

I would recommend this product for people who don't have cable or people who don't have cable and are able to connect to a neighbors default wireless LOL. All joking aside the Roku LT Streaming Player does exactly what i need and even just using Pandora shows what this excellent device is capable of which is streaming content to you in HD. The Roku LT is a must buy and i think its the best on the market and beats Apple TV face down. The Roku LT Player is cheap for what you get and looks very sleek and sexy coupled with the fact its so small and easy to use, In fact so easy a child could use it with out getting confused.

I hope you enjoyed this small review but hopefully it was enough for you to make a decision.
