ST & T Style Guitar Kits
Among the first kits to appear on the range was the ST style kit. This type of kit is said to be based on the very common "strat" shaped guitars. Currently they are made with basswood bodies and maple necks. They have the classic 3 single coil pickup configuration and produce a very nice sound.The "T" style is another popular choice. The basic version is similarly spec'd to the ST style in terms of wood types but the more expensive tele kit is made with an alder body and maple fingerboard. You can definitely tell the difference in tone from the slightly heavier body.
Heavy Metal Style Guitar Kits

There are quite a number of heavy metal diy guitar kits available from Stellah. They range from Ibanez inspired, , to some very unusual pointy ones. Some of them have a floyd rose style bridge with locking nut. The necks usually have 22 or 24 frets with a mother of pearl fret inlay on some. The TPJS-12 Kit has a beautiful flamed maple top. Body woods include basswood, hard maple and elm.
Jazz Style Guitar kits
For a mellower sound
There are some beautiful jazz diy guitar kits also made by Stellah. These include a semi hollow body kit and a T style Thinline guitar kit. The thinline style kit has an 'F' hole in the body and features a bolt on neck, while the semi hollow jazz kit has a double 'F' hole and set neck. There are quite a dazzling array of tones that can be achieved with these guitar kits.
