From what I know, Youtube pays their partner $2.50 per 1000 views on their uploaded videos on Youtube. It is simple to sign up for Youtube Partner, all you have to do is a Google account and a few quality Youtube Videos with a lot of views. Go to Youtube Homepage and then sign up for partner by clicking on "Uploaders And Partners" below, Youtube will then see all your videos and decide if you are able to qualify for Youtube Partner.

      Doesn't Machinima not meet the Youtube Partner requirements since it uses audio and video from material they don't own the rights to (Mortal Kombat, for example)?
