How to add Nik Software Color Efex Pro in Adobe Photoshop?
If you haven't yet figured out adding effects in Adobe Photoshop, here is the step-by-step process. Since I am using Adobe Photoshop, this tutorial may not work for other editing software. So, here's how to do this. Make sure you have already installed any version of Adobe and you have Nik Software package downloaded or purchased before doing this. If you don't have it yet,
- Go to your PC/laptop's drive where you have installed the Adobe Photoshop.
- If you have installed it in C: drive, go to C: → Program files → Adobe folder.
- In Adobe folder, you should see the Adobe Photoshop folder with the current version you are using. Go to Adobe Photoshop CS#version → Plug-ins.
- In Plug-ins folder, paste the extracted folder of Nik Software you have downloaded. This folder should contain 2 files: Color Efex Pro 3.0 Complete and Selective Tool.
- To use the effects, open your pictures in Adobe. Click the layer of the picture → Filter Menu → Nik Software. Now, you can choose among the options available.
