Zujava

Updated on August 15, 2014

Zujava is a new site, fresh, just launched, in beta.

I don't often get excited about new sites, but when something grabs my interest I'll check it out, pull it apart and see what makes it tick. And if I'm impressed I'll talk about it. And indeed I am.

If you're serious about article writing and making money on the internet, then you need to check out Zujava, and add it to your online publishing arsenal.

Reasons To Sign Up To Zujava

  • It's easy (if you can build a lens you can build a leaf)
  • You can earn money
  • No need for an Adsense account, the payment model is similar to Squidoo and pays out via Paypal
  • It's free!

Referrals

For every user you refer to Zujava they will share the earnings of the user's content with you. The user won't lose a penny (it's taken from Zujava's share of the revenue) and you will make more money. The referral rate is 25% until February 1, 2013, after that the referral rate becomes 20%.

Revenue

Zujava works on a revenue model similar to Squidoo. Revenue is generated by visitors clicking on ads or clicking through and buying products. Zujava splits the revenue 50/50 with their authors.

You'll often hear people talking about not having all your eggs in the one basket. If you're solely publishing on Squidoo you are doing just that. Zujava is not a competitor to Squidoo, it is complementary to helping your plans to earn to your potential. I publish at several places and I get excited when I see a new quality site like Zujava being launched as it helps me build an even firmer foundation in my personal online money making empire.

I've tried and tested many platforms. Even if you don't publish a whole lot of articles on one site, it's good to have a few up here and there (on trusted sites) and cross link. Zujava is definitely one of the trusted sites.

How has this worked out for you? Have you made any money from it? Still looking for some new homes for my writing.

I still prefer Squidoo than others but I will return to that site and hope that it is not as strict as before when it comes to publishing..

Hey, I just joined. I found Zujava through a link from Squidoo, where I have just started authoring lenses. I'm going to get started on some leaves for Zujava, as well! I agree with not putting all of your eggs in one basket!

Diversification is crucial. If you only write in one place and it stopped tomorrow,,al of,your income is, too.

@Tobint44 LM: As they say, don't put all your eggs in one basket. You can publish a few over there, link back, or link to. Have multiple streams of income.

Awesome lens, I think I would feel guilty straying from Squidoo!

I will have to look into this site. I firmly believe in not having all my eggs in one basket, so while I will be a Squidoo fan for life, I want to have more options to make money. Thanks for sharing this great information.

I just started making my first leaf at Zujava. I am a bit frustrated because each new module takes so long to load and save. It will take some getting used to.

I am a member there too and still making my empire there. Thanks for promoting zujava here in Squidoo. :)

I've seen references to Zujava in the forums and was debating whether to try it. I get frustrated with all the junk that gets published on Squidoo -- I feel like it gives the site a bad reputation. It seems like Zujava is really paying attention to the problems here and working to avoid them, which is encouraging. I used your link & signed up; I'm going to publish a few things there and see how it goes!

It's amazing how dipping your toes in the world of online writing leads you to wade in further and further. Your bio reminds me of the obsessive way I write (research, research, research), so I definitely will trust your guidance here and, at the very least, check out Zujava -- I'll even use your link. Take care!

I went to look at them. I don't know why they use such a tiny font on the posts. It was unreadable to me. Sure I could enlarge it but why would I really want to do that every time I read something? They need to fix that on the site itself. A stupid mistake for a new site trying to get readers and writers.

Wow, thanks. I've been on the look out for a "Squidoo like" site for a while. When you said it was Squidoo like, you really meant it, right down to the home page, only.... are those rectangular and not square pictures?? Only time will tell how it fares, but I just joined, clicked you link and hopefully you'll see the result.
