I have ways wanted to go to Bulgaria but we just can't find the time as it is cold there when it is cold in Canada and we only want to go away in the winter. When does spring start in Bulgaria?

I think the country is also beautiful. I love the red rock boulders and the wildlife! I also live in God's country in Northern Montana near Glacier Park. Amazing rock formations, glaciers, waterfalls, summits and valleys. We also have bear, moose, mountain lions, mountain goats, hawks, eagles, egrets, hummers (over 600 species of birds). I feel Very blessed to live where I do... You are also blessed. :-)

Great hub! I'm from Bulgaria and we DO have amazing scenery! The beaches are beautiful, safe, and the water is crystal clear! The beachside towns have given me many memories and every year there is something new. There is so so much culture and joy in them :) Especially Sozopol! It's beautiful and rural down there.

The mountainside villages are gorgeous too, like out of a painting. The weather is scorching during summer and freezing during winter, blossoming during spring and colorful in autumn, just like it should be.

Best of all, the people are happy. They genuinely love their lives. Kids run around and actually talk. Adults have many friends. Elderly group together in the afternoons and have chats in front of their apartment building. It's so lively yet so calm.

I had a wonderful childhood when I lived in Bulgaria, unfortunately now I live abroad. Hopefully I will return there again for more than just a summer every year!

      прекрасен хъб!

Had no idea there was scenery like that in Bulgaria! I always envisioned something a lot darker, like on the movie Eastern Promises or something. Nice hub!
