Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone Park is the first National Park in the United States and it covers 2,219,791 total acres. The park has a museum, visitor center, camping, fishing and in the winter time, snow mobile tours. For part of the tour you can rent donkeys to take you on the winding slopes of Yellowstone.

This park is an outdoor lovers dream. It is world famous and I can see why. Be sure to bring the cameras, video recorders and if you paint, wow, what a back drop!

When camping at Yellowstone, bring your frisbee and you can toss it around while at your campsite (if possible).

Electric City Water Park

The Electric City Water Park is located in Great Falls, Montana and it is famous for having the state's largest outdoor, heated pool. It also has flow rider (my favorite) which allows you to surf in a safe way.

A children's play area, lazy river and two huge slides round out the rides. There's a place where you can lay out on the beach and get a tan. You can also eat and drink while you are here. There are lots of lounge chairs for soaking up the sun and relaxing with a good book.

They have a gift shop with lots of souvenirs.

Glacier Heaven

Glacier National Park

Glacier National Park is simply put, beautiful. Tours include wooden boat lake tours and 1930's auto tours that take patrons by land. The ultimate place to visit for hikers and campers for sure.

Pictures taken in this area do not do this place justice. The natural beauty of this area is breathtaking. If you are fortunate to be able to camp here, light a fire and just enjoy the night sky.

The glaciers make great pictures and they can be made into gifts later. You can use these photos to go on different objects like a coffee mug, a shirt or a mouse pad.

Havre Beneath the Streets is just that, beneath the streets underground. A cool redo of Havre's past. The wild west in your face with saloons and food shops. See things like an opium den out of the blue while exploring this place.

Montana has several awesome places for whitewater rafting. Besides rafting most locations also offer canoeing and kayaking. This activity is very popular among church groups, groups of friends and there's the daredevil in every crowd. There are rapids that are easy, then medium and then they go up by classes.
