Myrtle Beach is a huge vacation destination with thousands of places to go shopping. Here is a quick list of where to go and for the shop-a-holic, your quest to find things you want and things you don't need is nearly enless.
You can find countless retail stores up and down Highway 17 all the way from Little River to Pawley's Island. It's time to get ready to plan your shopping.
1. Broadway at the Beach
Broadway at the Beach is a 350 acre complex full of restaurants, entertainment venues and shopping which is where we will focus on. Among the popular stores in Broadway is Harley Davidson, Ron Jon's Surf Shop, Build-A-Bear Workshop, Tiki Jim's, Stupid Factory, Victoria Secret, The Mole Hole, Yankee Candle and a host of others.
You can shop at all the restaurants like Margaritaville, Hard Rock Cafe, Joe's Crab Shack, Planet Hollywood. Senior Frogs, the Kiss Coffee Shop and others who sell t-shirts and other memorabilia.
The complex is one huge circle of fun with a boardwalk system that connects all areas with quicker access for all your shopping. There are stores at every turn at Broadway.
Broadway at the Beach is located between 21st and 29th Avenue North (north and south sides), Highway 17 and Robert Grissom Parkway (east and west sides)/
2. Barefoot Landing
Barefoot Landing is at the southern tip of North Myrtle Beach. Plenty of shopping here with retail stores like Ron Jon's Surf Shop, Tiki Jim's, Chico's, the Christmas Shop, Whie House Black Market, Tango Bay Clothing Co., Izod, Burlington Shoe's, Klig's Kites, the Mole Hole and many more.
All the restaurants like Joe's Crab Shack, House of Blues, Dick's Last Resort also offer t-shirts and other memorabilia.
3. Market Commons
Market Commons is a wonderful community with plenty of shopping. All the stores are on ground level with condo's built above many of them. Popular stores include Tommy Bahama's, Victoria Secrets, Anthropology, Barnes and Noble, Williams Sonoma, Pottery Barn, Lazy Gator, Orvis, White House Black Market, Bath & Body Works and many more.
There is a Piggly Wiggly and most of the restaurants offer t-shirts and other memorabilia.
4. Coastal Grand Mall
The Coastal Grand Mall is the largest and busiest mall in Myrtle Beach. Located just 10 minutes south of Broadway at the Beach off Highway 17, it's easy to find. The anchors stores include Dick's Sporting Goods, Dillard's, Sears and Belk,
Other popular stores include Old Navy, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Brookstone, Spencer Gifts, Zales Jewlers, Aeropostle, Abercrombie and Finch, Jos. A. Bank and many more.

5. Tanger Outlets
There are 2 Tanger Outlet locations. One is on Kings Rd. off Highway 17N. If you are staying in anywhere north of 30th Avenue North in Myrtle Beach all the way to the North Carolina line, this is closer location to shop at.
There are at least 100 stores to visit. Here is a short list of the many. J. Crew Factory, Coach Factory, Under Armour, Lucky Brand Jeans, Gap Factory Store, Nine West Outlet, Old Navy Outlet, Sketchers, Rack Room Shoes, White House Black Market, Yankee Candle, Motherhood Maternity Outlet and the list goes on.
Location #2 is on Rt. 501 between Myrtle Beach and Carolina Forest. If you are staying anywhere from the south of 30th Avenue N. in Myrtle Beach to Pawleys Island, this would be the closer location.
Most of the same stores are at this location too. At both Tanger Outlet complexes, they have an eatery section when you need a break and to refuel. Bring your walking shoes or buy them here.
6. Hudson's Surfside Flea Market
The largest open air flea market in the Myrtle Beach area is located just south of Myrtle Beach in Surfside Beach on Business 17. With over 400 spaces and 70,000 sq. ft. of vendors, the bargain shopping begins. The variety of products from golfing equipment to household items, clothing, books, sports memorabilia, tools, candles, leather goods and much, much more offers many choices.
It's like walking through a maze until you find what interests you and then everything stops as you focus on what you want.
There are other large flea markets in the area. The Myrtle Beach Flea Market is about 10 minutes south from the Surfside location. North Myrtle Beach offers a large indoor flea market and still another is located in Littler River. All are located on Rt. 17

8. The Hammock Shops in Pawleys Island
When is comes to favorite places to shop among vacationers, The Hammock Shops is on many people's radar. It's a little drive from Myrtle Beach but you can make a day of it as you travel to Pawleys Island. The Hammock Shops have 22 unique shops with plenty of variety.
