    @SuzieQ42, there are even vastly different standards of living in South Africa itself! I am eighteen years old, born a week before the first democratic election in South Africa, and I absolutely love the paradoxical nature of this country. It truly makes for a fascinating life! :)

    Voted up and interesting, yet I can't believe this rich country is located not far from those that have high percentages of poverty, with many starving children and adults.
