It has many reasons to make a plan before you travel especially when you travel with your family and your kids. Following is some tips which may help you to make a Vietnam tour easily.

.First, you need to find a reliable travel agent who can help you to organize the whole trip or partial of it. It would be a little bit more expensive but you can save your time and have someone who take responsibility for the quality of the services. In the case that you wish to save handle fee you should only book land service from them such as : tour guide, transportation, train, Halong cruise, Mekong Cruise and some day trip excursions. Tripadvisor and Lonely planet are some sample websites to chose a travel agent.

.If you chose a travel agent , chose a local travel agent who based in Vietnam.International travel agent or tour operator will charge you 20-25 % for commission but for local agent they only mark up 10 % from their contract rate which means you might get better price than you book single service online by yourself.

.Do not book for full meal on board with Travel Agent, even thought they change menu every meal but it is interesting to go outside of restaurant to discover street food which was most popular delicious food in Vietnam

.Do not miss any of those highlight destinations: Hanoi, Halong, Sapa,Danang, Hue, Hoi an, Danang, Ho Chi Minh, Mekong, Mui Ne, Da Lat, Phu Quoc... The tip is to ask your travel agent to provide you a list of hotel matches with your budget, location requirements.. then the choice is in your hand to decide if you wish to book it yourself or leave it for your travel agent . As travel agent always has annual inspection trip , they will know more than anyone. To avoid any un-expectation, you can check the website of the hotel and check some review pages such as : tripadvisor, lonely planet, agoda..
