In this post, we will help you to determine what makes the cities the most beautiful destinations in Europe to spend a memorable vacation.

These are the top nine cities you should consider visiting in Europe because of their beauty.

1. Venice, Italy

Most Venice visitors take a short stay and back to another city or destination within a day or less. This means they only spend time around the tour site centers. However, there is much to experience in Venice behind the alleys and learn about the culture of the people of Venice.

As a tourist, you need to visit the city’s museums and experience their culture in the form of art. Some of the top Venice museums include Palazzo Grassi, Punta Della Dogana, and Scuola Grande Di San Marco.

2. Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria

Lying on the steep bank of Yantra River, Veliko Tarnovo is a beautiful city surrounded by foothills, making it a lovely environment for nature lovers. With its serenity, forests, and position, Veliko Tarnovo is an ideal destination for people who are into hiking and mountain biking.

You can breathe fresh air as you explore the area and listen to the chirping birds. Tsarevets Fortress, which served as the main stronghold of the Second Empire of Bulgaria, is the primary tourist attraction in the city.

3. Oia, Greece

Among the stunning European cities, Oia is by far the most spectacular place to be for the sunset views. The town is located on the top of a volcanic cliff. The cliff of this town faces West, making the evenings awesome, and sitting there staring at the reflection of the evening sky in the Aegean Sea below is unimaginable.

4. Paris, France

Paris might have been mentioned on many occasions, but we cannot deny its beauty. It’s not just known for its Hennessy, but is also famous for its nickname “The City of Light”. Paris is one of the European cities to be enlightened. But even with the wrong interpretation of its nickname, the lighting of the city, especially during the festive seasons is outstanding. You can spend the whole night gazing and staring at the glory of the streets and towers.

5. Budapest, Hungary

Hungary’s capital, Budapest, is among the top magnificent cities in Europe, especially the bridge connecting Buda and Pest over River Danube. From the bridge, you can watch the stunning beauty of the city on both sides. In the evenings, when the lights come on, you will notice how marvelous the place is, with the reflections.

6. Prague, Czech Republic

As the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic, Prague consists of ancient and historic buildings, markets, middle-age bridges, and churches. Its luminosity in the night lights is sparkling. For this reason, it is easy to consider Prague, the most beautiful city in Europe.

In its upcountry surroundings, you cannot resist the inviting nature and cool environment. The historic architecture is also something to marvel about even as you explore the museums and learn more through their art.

8. Innsbruck, Austria

The “Capital of Alps” is your ideal destination for nature lovers. The city lies below the Nordkette mountain ranges, making the view and experience an amazing adventure. Innsbruck is packaged as both a historical site and a modern city. Skiing and shopping are some of the activities to do in Innsbruck.
