A Beautiful Vacation in Cozumel Mexico
Scuba Diving, Along With Fun, Friendship and Great Food
Cozumel, Mexico Is One of God's Spectacular Creations
The captivating scenery and all-inclusive amenities, guarantee visitors will be compelled to return to this exotic island. Cozumel, Mexico is not only famous for its outstanding scuba diving which attracts sportsmen throughout the world. "Although it is a major stop for Caribbean cruise ships, Cozumel remains a charming island with friendly and hospitable people. Cozumel Reefs National Park offers a protected marine environment that divers can leisurely explore," stated Osla de Cozumel. This copacetic island was a perfect getaway location for my husband Walker, who enjoys scuba diving, although blissful sceneries, delicious food, succulent spa treatments, shopping and a responsive staff that cater to the customer's needs before we ask; is the epitome of Cozumel Palace All-Inclusive Resort.
We, unfortunately, had one stop in Dallas / Fort Worth, Texas from Philadelphia. Then from Texas, we flew directly to Cozumel which is recommended, rather than flying into Cancun, where a bus and ferry must be utilized in order to get onto Cozumel island. Upon our arrival at Cozumel Palace - All Inclusive Resort, we were greeted with a cool facial towel which was refreshing after arriving in such hot temperatures. The ladies also received a single flower to take with us to our rooms. Attention by the staff toward such small and somewhat insignificant concerns escalates the quality of service at this resort. My husband and I were immediately asked if we were celebrating anything special. We acknowledged that we were celebrating our wedding anniversary. This information was noted and two days during our stay, we received a luscious white chocolate dessert as well as a bottle of chilled champagne. Upon our arrival, we also received a bottle of wine in our room with a fully stocked, free bar of various liquors. A refrigerator with a variety of juices and sodas was also in the room and was restocked daily. Delicious food was available twenty-four hours a day. You could order this through room service, buffet or choose any restaurant within the facility. We have vacationed at other all-inclusive resorts where the amenities, just were not up to the standards of Cozumel Palace.
Amenities at the Cozumel Palace Resort
Our room was a source of solace, with a king size bed, sunken jacuzzi tub, surrounded by marble floors that were cooling to the touch after being out in the heat. The extended balcony with a hammock overlooked the crystal blue waters and endless pools which were captivating. It was the perfect location during early morning hours after a swim or late in the evening while reading one of my Christian publications for, complete relaxation and indulgence.
Tantalizing meals were always available whether on the buffet for breakfast where you could order any style egg or freshly cooked meat you desired. During lunch you had a choice of the buffet inside or you could order specialty cooked meals by the chef near the pool. A variety of drinks were always available with each meal. Dinner was always whimsical where you could choose an elaborate buffet or mouthwatering dishes in their Asian or Mexican restaurants within the resort. On Friday before our departure, we celebrated our twenty-seventh anniversary with a romantic champagne dinner by the sea. Our Heavenly Father Jehovah, gave us the most awe-inspiring sunset for our viewing pleasure during dinner. We thanked Him for the arrangement of marriage and for the inspirational scenery that was just breathtaking.
Within the rate of Cozumel Palace All-Inclusive Resort, we received free $1,500 resort credits when you book five to eight nights. We used some of these points for Walker's dives which only cost him the fee of taxes which rated about $30 for an experience worth more than $125. Our resort credits were also used for a palace Seaweed Wrap, which was lush and euphoric. On Sunday, we decided to enjoy a Couple's Aromatherapy Massage, valued over $300 which we received for $37 in taxes and fees. Think carefully, we would have paid the full prices for these services, if we were on a cruise ship or at most all-inclusive resorts. The value for what you receive in exchange is beyond comprehension. That is why I am not surprised by the persecution and false charges of drug trafficking placed on some visitors, to keep them away from such fantastic deals in Mexico. When we arrived back in Texas, we were subjected to two different checks of our passports, luggage, and other papers. We were also scanned once coming out of Mexico. This might discourage some individuals from wanting to return and experience these fantastic deals. Remember, if you have nothing to hide, these checks of your personal belongings will not be as disturbing. After all, the law enforcement officers are just doing their jobs for our protection.
We were also encouraged to utilize the car rental service with our resort credits so that we could tour the island. The driving experience was simple where we rented a jeep and leisurely traveled to different locations around the island such as the International Pier, Punta Sur Reef, Punta Caltrain Lighthouse, Playa Bonita and the local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses where we could still be spiritually refreshed in the English language. We ended up right back in front of the resort without any problems because driving around the island is so simple to do.
This vacation I would recommend for any couple looking for a getaway full of excitement and genuine value without all of the added costs. That is why Cozumel Palace All-Inclusive Resort was described as, "Enjoy elegant upscale accommodations as you take in the wonders of Cozumel. You will be impressed by the amenities and attention to detail from the moment you arrive. This unforgettable resort was selected among the Top 10 World's Best All-Inclusive Resorts by Trip Advisor Travelers Choice Awards in 2008. Visit and discover why for yourself! The glorious island of the Cozumel, just 11 miles away from the Yucatan Peninsula's west coast, is the biggest island in Mexico. Located only 10 minutes from Cozumel's airport, the Cozumel Palace is a showcase of refined taste and friendly service in an unbeatable location." For our vacation and anniversary celebration, we couldn't have expressed it better. We look forward to our return to Cozumel Palace in the future. Such enchantingly beautiful locations truly remind me of the love our Grand Creator Jehovah, demonstrates toward his creation by giving us such delightful locations to visit. How thankful we should be to behold the sight of them.
