Splashdown Waterpark (Spokane, Washington)

Splashdown, is an awesome park because, it has 10 slides and a lazy river not to mention, a wave pool and several other water rides. One other interesting fact about this place is that they do not get greedy. They offer free parking and allow you to bring coolers with your own food and drinks on the premises.

To be honest, Splashdown is not the best water park I have ever been to but, it is in the top three. Splashdown has lots of slides, rides and water play areas which keep the park fresh and keeps it from ever getting boring.

This waterpark is full of slides for children and thrill seeking adults. Also, restrooms, a gift shop and lots of eateries are spread out over the park.

Olympic Sculpture Park (Seattle, Washington)

This is a 9 acre sculpture museum that is built outdoors and partially on and along the beach. The park has some designs that are always on display but, they also carry traveling sculptures. Pictures are allowed but, you cannot ever touch any of the artwork.

I love the fact that this museum is completely free, and outside and on the beach.

This is just one of the many large sculpture present at the Sculpture Park. Some sculptures, like this one, are permanent while others only stay for short times.

Bear Creek Snow Park (Bear Creek, Washington)

Whether you love snowmobiling or have never been, you will love it here. Snowmobiles can be rented by the day or by the hour. Freezing cold but, oh so fun.

The park has a huge lodging area that has snow tubing and of course, offers nice accommodations for a good nights sleep. For those not wanting to snowmobile, I suggest trying the inner tubing as it has smaller hills. You will still want to try this with caution as well because, it can still knock the wind out of you.

Clayton Beach (Bellingham, Washington)

This beach is different than most because, it is slightly hidden and it requires a hike in order to get to the beach itself. Lay out on the beach, swim, fish or just enjoy the view. As with any body of water, always be cautious and put safety first.

Relax, You are at the beach! This is a great place for one on one romance with the one you love.
