A Wonderful Tour in Sardinia

I’ll take all of you in the special tour at the Sardinia Island. Sardinia, or in Italian 'Sardegna' is the second-largest island in the Mediterranean Sea and as one of the biggest tourist attracting towns in the country, because it has many tourist attractions. Like: churches, cathedrals, Amphitheaters, historical sites, botanical attractions, Roman architecture, nature, beautiful beaches (ideal for swimming and snorkeling), diverse island (complete with mountain and natural countryside), local traditions (including festivals and warm friendly people), many activities, etc. It’s really a sophisticated Italian island, south of Corsica and west of mainland Italy. Sardinia is a very ancient island rich in legends and history, it proved by traces of human settlements dated from the Neolithic Age. It has a very long summer season, from April to November. Sardinia divided into 4 provinces, they are Cagliari, Nuoro, Oristano, and Sassari. And four additional provinces, they are: Ogliastra, Medio Campidano, Carbonia-Iglesias, Olbia-Tempio.

It is characterized by tablelands (plateau), mountain chains, rivers, Campidano plain and massifs. There are numerous ponds and some of artificial lakes. Sardinian coasts are full of beaches cliffs and mortises. All of them are lapped by the blue water of Sardinian sea. There are many caves which are show the stalactites and stalagmites. Why do this island so amazing? Because it has over 1000 miles of unspoilt coastline, including fascinating rock formations and translucent azure blue sea. That’s why Sardinia renowned for beautiful beaches. Sardinia also has some of the world’s most idyllic beaches. It's like dazzling shades of aquamarine and emerald green. Even trusted information said that Costa Smeralda was voted as Europe's Leading Beach in the 2007 World Travel Awards (voted by travel agents worldwide). Rugged cliffs, tiny coves and picturesque harbours are ready to be explored.

We can go there by just a 2 hour flight from the UK or we can use direct flights from many regional airports, like: Stansted, Manchester, Gatwick, Nottingham East Midlands, Bristol, Leeds Bradford, Dublin and Edinburg. Including three airports in Sardinia, such as: Cagliari in the south, Alghero in the north west and Olbia in the north east

If we interested in both history and agriculture (plant lover), so “The Botanical Gardens of Cagliari” is the perfect place for us to learn more about various plants. It located in the Pallabanda valley in the eastern part of Sardinia town and lies on about 14 and a half acres of land. This place was founded in the 18th century AD. What can we see here? The Botanical Gardens of Cagliari has about 3000 different species of plants. The species from around the globe, and the unique plants came from the ancient Roman Empire. The species have been set in categories, like: succulent plants (Euphoria) which have origins mainly in Africa and South America, Mediterranean plants which are from Australia and lastly tropical plants.
