African Safaris Blood Diamond of the travel industry

Updated on September 12, 2016

Something Stinks in Africa?

I have some knowledge of the living conditions in Africa even Tanzania that is one of the most prosperous areas so when I heard that people were paying up to or more a $1,000 dollars a day I was somewhat amazed. From the cursory research done of current wages a Real good wage is $60 a month. So if you use a $100 a month for an employee and from what little I know food, lodging etc is also pennies on the dollar, how much out of $10,000 stays in the community?

Safari Employee wages sought

So, are you employed by a Safari company in Africa? I want to hear from you.
