Burj Khalifa stands tall in the center of Downtown Dubai. Downtown Dubai offers the very best of shopping, entertainment, outdoor and indoor recreation centers, parks, residences, and open spaces dotted with lakes and spectacular water features.

The Burj Khalifa in Dubai, U.A.E, is the tallest building in the world. It towers at over 828 meters (2,716.5 feet) and more than 160 stories high. The Burj Khalifa has a “Y” shaped plan with wings allowing maximum outward views. This plan also allows a great amount of sunlight to penetrate the building.

The Burj Khalifa has a central core with three elements arranged around it. This triple-lobed footprint of the building was inspired by the plant Hymenocalis.

The crowning glory of Burj Khalifa is the telescopic spire which is made up of 4,000 tons of structural steel. This spire was constructed from inside the building and jacked up to full height of over 200 meters using a hydraulic pump.

The spire looks as though it is reaching out towards the sky and is an integral part of the completion of this awe-inspiring landmark – “The Burj Khalifa”.

A high-speed elevator takes you to the observation deck. Throughout the journey to the Top a multimedia presentation about Dubai and Burj Khalifa is played in the elevator. Entry tickets for the observation deck "At the Top" can be bought at the entrance on the ground floor of Dubai Mall.

Burj Khalifa Park

The Burj Khalifa Park is a 27 acre park which has six water features, garden palms, walkways and flowering trees. The design of this park is also inspired by the Hymenocalis flower.

The Dancing Fountains

The Dancing Dubai Mall Fountain is just outside the Burj Khalifa. It is a dancing tale of shooting musical water fountains. This water fountain is illuminated by 6,600 lights and 50 colored projectors. It is 275 m long and shoots water up to 150 m high up into the air with music playing in the background.
