Major Boat Show and Festivals

Major Boat Shows, Trade Shows and Boating Expos are held every year in all capital cities throughout Australia. There are also many Boating Exhibitions, Festivals and Expos and other display events in the regional areas where you can see the boats in action on the waterways.

One good example is the annual Sydney International Boat Show. This show is either held at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, at the Cockle Bay Marina, Darling Harbour and other venues in the Sydney area.

The Club Marine Mandurah Boat Show has grown recently and is now the third largest on-the-water boat show in Australia. It is renowned for its fantastic and world class displays. You can see yachts, luxury cruisers, sports fishing boats,'tinnies' trailer boats, canoes, kayaks and dinghies. The show also offers a huge range of boating gear, clothing and accessories as well as diving, canoeing, kayaking, fishing and camping gear.

The Club Marine Perth Boat Show has been taking place for years but has recently been transformed with a totally new and exciting appearance. The show has now been expanded to include leisure industries and has a fantastic range of entertainment for all the family. No boating event captures the essence of the Queensland lifestyle more than the famous Brisbane Tinnie & Tackle Show. It showcases everything about water leisure activities, boating, the great outdoors, and especially fishing and fishing accessories. Every year more than 35,000 visitors enjoyed the exhibits and entertainment and saw all the latest in boating and fishing.

The Adelaide Boat Show is extremely popular and offers something for everyone who is interested in an active lifestyle focus on water sports.It showcases boats of all types, shapes and sizes, from the humble tinny to sophisticated motor cruisers, half cabin runabouts, fast and fabulous reef runners, wakeboard and ski boats, canoes and kayaks, a host of electronic equipment and gadgets, and a huge range of fishing and safety gear.

Demonstrations include the latest in boating fashion gear; casting and fishing demonstrations, canoeing and kayaking, how to fillet and cooking seafood, echo-sounders, fish-finders weather and safety information and you can even sit for your boat licence at the show.

The Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, in Queensland is renowned as the largest on-water display in the entire Asia-Pacific region.

Boating industry of Victoria hosts the annual Melbourne Boat Show. Every year there are more fishing gear, more boating exhibitors, more boats, and lots more fun!

The Darwin Boat Show showcases the thriving marine industry in the Northern Territory and features a huge array of exciting demonstrations and fabulous exhibits ranging from boats, fishing gear, clothing and accessories and includes all outdoor leisure-gear and equipment.

The people of Darwin and the tropical north love their boating, their fishing and their own unique boat show and the event attracts more than 15,000 visitors every year, over the two days of the show. Be there! Don't miss this show.

The famous Australian Wooden Boat Festival showcases the maritime craft, heritage and art of wooden boats during four fabulous fun-filled days of action, displays, trips, music, theatre, art, food and fun. The Festival is located on the docks of historic Sullivans Cove in Hobart Tasmania, right in the heart of the scenic dockside precinct. It is a beautiful spot with the backdrop of the sandstone pubs, restaurants, cafes in the heritage buildings and warehouses of the famous Salamanca area as the perfect backdrop.

    This looks like a really fun trade show! I bet you guys expect a lot of mobile exhibits and interesting trades show displays out there this year!
