Tree of Life

The Tree of Life is an Acacia tree approximately 400 year-old, 9.75 m (32 ft) high. It is located near Jebel Dukhan.

Is there a reason why they called it Tree of Life?

It is a mystery up to date where the tree gets the nutrients and water it needs in order to survive. A lot of people are surprised why it is still alive, considering that it is the only tree in the middle of the desert where barely no other plant or tree exist. People and researchers do not know how it can still survive. Archaeologists are still searching for the tree's water source.That is why they called it the Tree of Life.

Another famous myth about this tree is that, the place where it is located is the said Garden of Eden.

Amwaj Islands are a group of man-made islands located in the northeast of Bahrain, near the Muharraq- where Bahrain Airport is only 8 kilometers away.

it is a known place for residential area of expatriates mostly Europeans.
