Beautiful Fall Vacation in GA

Living in Central Florida, we don't see the different seasons.

Although it's been a little cooler over the past week or so here in Florida, the seasons tend to always lean toward the warmer side.

Although I grew up in Colorado, I don't miss the snow or cold winters. It's been years since I've seen mountains and fall in the way that it happens every year the further north you go.

This year with all of the news about Hollywood boycotting the state of Georgia, we decided to plan a get-together in Georgia to show our support.

We met family and friends there and had a wonderful time.

We rented a very cute rustic cabin near Helen Georgia. It was adorable.

It was a two bedroom cabin with a fireplace, and beautiful mountain trails nearby.

Our cabin was about 7 miles outside of Helen Georgia. Helen is a beautiful little town with a strong German theme. From the style of buildings to the outstanding restaurants, it's an adorable and fun place to stop for anyone traveling to Georgia.

Everything can be found in Helen, from a chocolate factory, to glass blown items. You can find horse drawn buggies, and beautiful German style art.

We hiked up the mountain about 1/4 of a mile to see the Anna Ruby Falls.

They were absolutely beautiful.

Our grandson thought it was pretty cool.

We met with several of our friends and family and enjoyed our time together.

I think we all had a great time on our visit there. It was really wonderful seeing everyone.

Altogether we rented 4 cabins and spent the week touring Helen and the nearby mountains.

It's a place that we will all definitely visit again.

We had a little front move through and it brought with it lots of wind.

The wind picked up the leaves from the trees and they were flying in the air and slowly falling to the ground. I completely enjoyed every minute of it.

I can't wait to go again next year.
