Best Tourist Attractions in Arizona

As mentioned in my previous hubs I love travelling, being able to experience the many wonderful things around the world is a true passion of mine. I am going to talk about some of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona, and they definitely have something for the entire family to enjoy. I have been to Arizona eight times, and it is definitely an adventure of a lifetime. Arizona is known for its amazing canyons, and the agriculture is quite amazing as well.

Phoenix Zoo

Phoenix Zoo is located in Phoenix, and was opened back in 1962. The Phoenix Zoo is one of the most popular tourist attractions for families in Arizona, and is about one hundred and twenty five acres in size. The Phoenix Zoo has over three thousand different animals, and has some of the most amazing walking trails as well.

I have been to the Phoenix Zoo five times, and would love to go back one day. The Phoenix Zoo has some of the most amazing attractions and exhibits that make families want to go back over and over again. The Phoenix Zoo has amazing agriculture throughout the area, and the events that they hold are pretty incredible.

Grand Canyon National Park

Grand Canyon National Park is located in the Northwestern region of Arizona, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona. The Grand Canyon National Park was created to protect the amazingness of the Grand Canyon, and is over one million and two hundred thousand acres in size.

I have only been to the Grand Canyon National Park once, but would absolutely love to go back one day. The Grand Canyon National Park is known to be one of the wonders of the world, and is extremely beautiful in many ways. The Grand Canyon National Park was opened back in 1919, and has an absolutely amazing history to it.

Pima Air & Space Museum

Pima Air & Space Museum is located in Tucson, and was opened back in 1976. The Pima Air & Space Museum has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona, and has a pretty incredible history to it. I have been to the Pima Air & Space Museum three times, and would very much like to go back one day. Pima Air & Space Museum is one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and is not only a fun experience but also very educational.

Glen Canyon Dam

Glen Canyon Dam is located in Coconino County, and was opened back in 1966. The Glen Canyon Dam has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona, and is over seven hundred and ten feet tall. The Glen Canyon Dam is completely made out of concrete, and is over one hundred and sixty acres in size. I have only been to the Glen Canyon Dam twice, but I can honestly say the scenery was absolutely incredible. The Glen Canyon Dam has an amazing history to it, and is one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Saguaro National Park

Saguaro National Park is located in Tucson, and was over ninety thousand acres in size. The Saguaro National Park has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona, and was opened back in 1994. This Saguaro National Park was created to protect the Sononan Desert, and has the most incredible scenery you will get to see within Arizona.

I have been to the Saguaro National Park four times, and would love to go back one day. The Saguaro National Park has many amazing attractions throughout the area, and has an amazing history to it as well. The Saguaro National Park has incredible wildlife that you will be able to encounter, and the hiking trails are absolutely incredible.

Montezuma Castle National Monument

Montezuma Castle National Monument is located in Yavapai County, and is a little over eight hundred and fifty acres in size. The Montezuma Castle National Monument was created back in 1906, and the architecture is pretty incredible. I have been to the Montezuma Castle National Monument four times, and would love to go back one day. The Montezuma Castle National Monument is more geared towards the adult generation, and holds tours that are absolutely fantastic.

Lost Dutchman State Park

Lost Dutchman State Park is located in Pinal, and is about three hundred and twenty acres in size. Lost Dutchman State Park was opened back in 1977, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona. The Lost Dutchman State Park was created to preserve the integrity of the amazing gold mine, and the scenery you will come across is absolutely amazing.

I have been to the Lost Dutchman State Park five times, and it is pretty spectacular adventure. The Lost Dutchman State Park has an incredible history to it, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out. The Lost Dutchman State Park has some incredible attractions throughout the area, and the wildlife you will encounter is pretty incredible as well.

Meteor Crater Natural Landmark

Meteor Crater Natural Landmark is located in Coconino County, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona. The Meteor Crater Natural Landmark was a crater that was created from a meteorite impact, and has such an amazing history to it. The Meteor Crater Natural Landmark was first noticed back in the eighteen hundreds, and truly has some incredible sceneries. I have been to the Meteor Crater Natural Landmark three times, and would love to go back one day. The Meteor Crater Natural Landmark has some incredible agriculture, and the wildlife you will encounter is pretty amazing.

Grand Canyon Railway is located in Coconino County, and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona. The Grand Canyon Railway is a heritage railway that lets you be able to see the Grand Canyon, and has some incredible sceneries that you will absolutely love. The Grand Canyon Railway is about sixty four miles long, and truly is an adventure of a lifetime.

I have only been to the Grand Canyon Railway once, but would absolutely love the chance to go back one day. The Grand Canyon Railway was opened back in 1901, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out. The Grand Canyon Railway has an incredible history to it, and sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and would make an incredible spot if you are on your honeymoon.

Chapel Of The Holy Cross

Chapel Of The Holy Cross is located in Sedona, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona. The Chapel Of The Holy Cross has some absolutely incredible architecture, and has a pretty amazing history to it. I have been to the Chapel Of The Holy Cross three times, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out. The Chapel of the Holy Cross was opened back in 1956, and the scenery that surrounds the building is extremely breathtaking.

Arizona is incredibly beautiful in many ways, and would make a fantastic family vacation. These are some of the most popular tourist attractions in Arizona that I have had the pleasure of being able to experience first hand, and they definitely have something for the entire family to enjoy.
