As mentioned in my previous articles I love travelling, being able to experience the wonderful things around the world is a true passion of mine. I am going to talk about some of the most popular tourist attractions in Louisiana, and they definitely have something for the entire family to enjoy. Louisiana is known for their amazing festivals, and is also known to have some pretty fun adventures as well. I have been to Louisiana five times, and would absolutely love to go back one day. Louisiana is extremely beautiful in many ways, and the wildlife you will encounter is absolutely amazing.

Carousel Gardens Amusement Park

Carousel Gardens Amusement Park is located in New Orleans, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions for families in Louisiana. Carousel Gardens Amusement Park was opened back in 1906, and has some pretty amazing agriculture throughout the area. The Carousel Gardens Amusement Park has several amazing attractions that you love, and also holds pretty incredible events as well. I have only been to the Carousel Gardens Amusement Park once, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Bayou Segnette State Park

Bayou Segnette State Park is located in Westwego, and is about sox hundred and seventy five acres in size. The Bayou Segnette State Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions within Louisiana, and has several amazing attractions throughout the area. The Bayou Segnette State Park is extremely beautiful in many ways, and the wildlife you will encounter is truly incredible.

I have been to the Bayou Segnette State Park three times, and would really like to go back one day. The Bayou Segnette State Park has an incredible history to it, and the hiking trails offers sceneries that are absolutely breathtaking. The Bayou Segnette State Park sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and if you are on your honeymoon this would be one spot I would check out.

Baton Rouge Zoo

Baton Rouge Zoo is located in Baton Rouge, and was opened back in 1970. The Baton Rouge Zoo has become one of the most popular tourist attraction for families in Louisiana, and has about eight hundred different animal. The Baton Rouge Zoo has an incredible history to it, and has some amazing exhibits throughout the area.

I have been to the Baton Rouge Zoo four times, and would love to go back one day. The Baton Rouge Zoo has incredible agriculture, and holds some of the most amazing events. The Baton Rouge Zoo is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and is not only a fun experience but also very educational.

New Orleans Botanical Gardens

New Orleans Botanical Garden is located in New Orleans, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Louisiana. The New Orleans Botanical Garden has amazing walking trails throughout the area, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. I have been to the New Orleans Botanical Gardens five times, and would love to go back one day. The New Orleans Botanical Garden was opened back in 1936, and sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and if you are on your honeymoon this would be one attraction I would check out.

Blue Bayou Waterpark

Blue Bayou Waterpark is located in Baton Rouge, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions for families in Louisiana. The Blue Bayou Waterpark was opened back in 1989, and has about twenty different attractions. The Blue Bayou Waterpark has incredible agriculture, and has an amazing history to it. I have been to the Blue Bayou Waterpark five times, and is definitely one attraction that will that will give you an adventure of a lifetime. The Blue Bayou Waterpark is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and you will sure to have an amazing time.

Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge

Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge located in Saint Tammany Parish, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Louisiana. The Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge is over seventeen thousand acres in size, and was opened back in 1994. The Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge has some pretty incredible wildlife, and was created as a Refuge for endangered animals.

I have been to the Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge three different times, and would absolutely love to go back one day. The Big Branch Marsh National Wildlife Refuge has some pretty incredible scenery throughout the area, and the sunsets you will see is absolutely breathtaking. USS Kidd Veterans Museum

USS Kidd Veterans Museum is located in Baton Rouge, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Louisiana. The USS Kidd Veterans Museum was opened back in 1943, and is one attraction more geared towards the adult generation. USS Kidd Veterans Museum is definitely an educational experience, and has some pretty amazing highlights the different Wars that has happened over the years. I have been to the USS Kidd Veterans Museum four times, and is definitely one attraction where you will learn a lot of history. The USS Kidd Veterans Museum is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, any the architecture is incredible.

Audubon Aquarium Of The Americas

Audubon Aquarium of the Americas is located in New Orleans, and has become very popular tourist attraction for families in Louisiana. The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas has about ten thousand animals, and was opened back in 1990. The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas also is the home to an amazing Insectarium, and also has a pretty incredible butterfly garden, and has some pretty amazing exhibits throughout the area.

I have only been to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas once, and would love to go back one day. The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas has incredible architecture throughout the building, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out. The Audubon Aquarium of the Americas sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and would an amazing spot if you are on your honeymoon.

Poverty Point State Historic Site

Poverty Point State Historic Site is located in West Carroll Parish, and is a little over nine hundred acres in size. The Poverty Point State Historic Site was opened back in 1988, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Louisiana. The Poverty Point State Historic Site is a huge hub for a lot of the culture in Louisiana, and the scenery around is pretty amazing. I have been to the Poverty Point State Historic Site three times, and is not only a fun experience but a very educational as well. The Poverty Point State Historic Site have the most amazing landscape, and offers many incredible hiking trails throughout the area.

Ogden Museum Of Southern Art

Ogden Museum Of Southern Art is located in New Orleans, and was opened back in 2003. The Ogden Museum Of Southern Art has a collection size of over four thousand pieces of Art, and the architecture is pretty incredible. The Ogden Museum Of Southern Art has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Louisiana, and offers tours that are truly incredible.

I have been to the Ogden Museum Of Southern Art twice, and would absolutely love to go back one day. The Ogden Museum Of Southern Art has some amazing exhibits that make people come back over and over again, and holds some pretty amazing events as well throughout the year. Ogden Museum Of Southern Art is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and is more geared towards the adult generation.


Louisiana is very beautiful in many different ways, and is a great spot for a family vacation.
