Best Tourist Attractions In Maine

As mentioned in my previous articles I love travelling, being able to experience some of the most amazing things around the world is a true passion of mine. These are some of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine, and there is definitely something for the entire family to enjoy. Maine is very well known for its incredible landscapes, and the sceneries are absolutely breathtaking. I have been to Maine eight times, and would love to go back one day.

Baxter State Park

Baxter State Park is located in piscataquis County, and was opened back in 1931. The Baxter State Park has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine, and is over two hundred thousand acres in size. The Baxter State Park is very beautiful in all sense of the means, and has several attractions throughout the area that make people want to come back over and over again.

I have been to the Baxter State Park five times, and would absolutely love to go back one day. The Baxter State Park has some of the most incredible wildlife you will encounter, and the scenery is beautiful beyond belief. The Baxter State Park sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and if you are on your honeymoon this is definitely one attraction I would check out.

Portland Museum Of Art

Portland Museum Of Art is located in Portland, was opened back in 1882. The Portland Museum Of Art has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine, and is more towards the adult generation. The Portland Museum Of Art has a collection of over twenty two thousand pieces of art, and its history is pretty amazing as well. I have only been to the Portland Museum Of Art once, but definitely would love to go back one day. The Portland Museum Of Art is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out, and holds pretty amazing events throughout the year as well.

Funtown Splashtown USA Amusement Park

Funtown Splashtown USA Amusement Park is located in Saco, has become one of the most popular tourist attraction for families in Maine. The Funtown Splashtown USA Amusement Park was opened back in 1960, and has over forty five different attractions. The Funtown Splashtown USA Amusement Park has an incredible history to it, and has some pretty amazing agriculture throughout the area. I have been to the Funtown Splashtown USA Amusement Park three times, and would love to go back one day.

Coastal Maine Botanical Garden

Coastal Maine Botanical Garden is located in Boothbay, and was opened back in 2007. The Coastal Maine Botanical Garden is over three hundred acres in size, and the scenery is absolutely breathtaking. The Coastal Maine Botanical Garden has an incredible history to it, and is a very educational experience as well.

I have been to the Coastal Maine Botanical Garden six times, and would love to go back one day. The Coastal Maine Botanical Garden has some pretty amazing walking trails throughout the area, and feature some of the most amazing plants that you will ever get to see. The Coastal Maine Botanical Garden sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and if you are on your honeymoon this is definitely one attraction I would check out.

Camden Hills State Park

Camden Hills State Park is located in Camden, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine. The Camden Hills State Park was opened back in 1947, and is over fifty five hundred acres in size. The Camden Hills State Park has an incredible scenery that so happens to overlook the ever so popular Penobscot Bay, and the agriculture is absolutely amazing.

I have been to the Camden Hills State Park seven times, and would love to go back one day. The Camden Hill State Park has some of the most amazing wildlife you will encounter, and the attractions will make people come back over and over again. The Camden Hill State Park sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and if you are on your honeymoon this is one attraction I would check out.

The Seashore Trolley Museum was opened back in 1939, and is not only the oldest but the largest Trolley Museum within the whole world, and is not only a fun experience but also very educational as well. I have been to the Seashore Trolley Museum five times, and would love to go back one day. The Seashore Trolley Museum is some pretty amazing exhibits throughout the building, and the architecture is very beautiful as well.

Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument

Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument is located in Penobscot County, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine. The Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument is over eighty seven thousand acres in size, and was opened back in 2016. The Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument has an amazing history to it, and the incredible walking trails that offer some of the most amazing scenery you will be able to see within Maine. I have been to the Katahdin Woods & Waters National Monument twice, and would love to go back one day.

Victoria Mansion

Victoria Mansion is located in Portland, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine. The Victoria Mansion has some of the most incredible architecture throughout the building, and was built back in 1860. The Victoria Mansion offers tours that are truly educational, and is more geared towards the adult generation. I have been to the Victoria Mansion five times, and would love to go back one day. The Victoria Mansion holds several awesome events, and is a major hub for a lot of culture within Maine.

Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park

Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park is located in Freeport, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine. The Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park was opened back in 1969, and is about two hundred and forty four acres in size. The Wolfe's Neck Woods State Park has an incredible agriculture, and the scenery you will come across is absolutely amazing.

The Portland Head Lighthouse was built back in 1791, and is known as the primary shipping station into the Portland Harbor. Portland Head Lighthouse has an incredible history to it, and is more geared towards the adult generation.

I have been to Portland Head Lighthouse four times, and would love to go back one day. The Portland Head Lighthouse offers the most amazing scenery that surrounds the area, and is a major hub for a lot of the culture within Maine. The Portland Head Lighthouse sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and would make an amazing spot for a honeymoon.

Maine is extremely beautiful, and would make an amazing spot for a family vacation. These are some of the most popular tourist attractions in Maine that I have had the amazing opportunity to be able to experience first hand, and are ones I would highly recommend checking out.
