Best Tourist Attractions In Montana

As mentioned in my previous articles I love travelling, being able to experience the many wonderful things around the world is a true passion of mine. I am going to talk about some of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana, and they definitely have something for an entire family to enjoy. I have been to Montana ten times, and can honestly say I would like to go back one day. Montana is mostly known for its incredible nature, and has some of the most amazing scenery.

Lewis & Clark Caverns

Lewis & Clark Caverns is located in Jefferson County, and was opened back in 1935. Lewis & Clark Caverns has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana, and it is a little over three thousand acres in size. Lewis & Clark Caverns has an amazing history to it, and also has some of the most incredible hiking trails.

I have been to the Lewis & Clark Caverns seven times, and would love to go back one day. The Lewis & Clark Caverns offers some amazing tours, and the wildlife you will encounter is pretty incredible as well. Lewis & Clark Caverns is not only a fun experience but also very educational, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument

Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument is located in Big Horn County, and was opened back in 1879. The Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana, and is over seven hundred and fifty acres in size. The Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument was created in remembrance of the battle of the Little Bighorn, and for those who had fought within it. I have only been to the Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument twice, but it definitely was a very educational experience. The Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument has an incredible history it, and is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Moss Mansion

Moss Mansion is located in Billings, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana. The Moss Mansion was built back in 1903, and was completely made out of red stone. The Moss Mansion is more geared towards the adult generation, and has an amazing history to it.

I have been to the Moss Mansion four times, and would love to go back one day. The Moss Mansion is about two acres in size, and the architecture is pretty incredible. The Moss Mansion has amazing tours, and holds some events throughout the year is pretty amazing.

Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center

The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center is located in West Yellowstone, and has become one of the most popular tourist attraction for families in Montana. The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center was opened back in 1993, and has over one hundred animals. The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center is a fun experience but also very educational, and holds several amazing events throughout the year. The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center has some pretty amazing exhibits, and the architecture throughout the building is truly incredible.

I have been to the Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center six times, and would love to go back one day. The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center was created as a sanctuary for bears and wolves that has become dangerous to be out in public. The Grizzly & Wolf Discovery Center is definitely one attraction I would highly recommend, and has an amazing history to it.

Garden Of One Thousand Buddhas

Garden Of One Thousand Buddhas is located in Lake County, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana. Garden Of One Thousand Buddhas is over seven hundred and fifty feet in size, and is one of the most popular places for Worship in Montana. The Garden Of One Thousand Buddhas features over one thousand statutes, and the architecture is pretty amazing.

I have been to the Garden Of One Thousand Buddhas five times, and it was incredible to see up close. The Garden Of One Thousand Buddhas has amazing history to it, and is one attraction I would highly recommend checking out. The Garden Of One Thousand Buddhas has pretty incredible scenery throughout the area, and has several other amazing attractions that makes people going back over and over again.

Pictograph Cave State Park

Pictograph Cave State Park is located in Billings, and is about twenty three acres in size. The Pictograph Cave State Park is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana, and consists of a system of three different caves. The Pictograph Cave State Park has some of the most beautiful scenery you will come across, and was spotted over two hundred years ago. I have been to the Pictograph Cave State Park four times, and would love to go back one day. The Pictograph Cave State Park has amazing tours, and the wildlife you will encounter is truly incredible.

Zoo Montana

ZooMontana is located in Billings, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions for families in Montana. ZooMontana is about seventy acres in size, and has some of the most incredible scenery you will be able to see within Montana. The ZooMontana has about one hundred different animals, and was opened back in 1982.

I have only been to the ZooMontana once, and would love to go back one day. The ZooMontana is also the home of a incredible botanical garden, and has amazing exhibits throughout the area. The ZooMontana has amazing live shows that makes people come back over and over again, and the events they hold throughout the year is truly incredible.

American Computer & Robotics Museum

American Computer & Robotics Museum is located in Bozeman, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions within Montana. The American Computer & Robotics Museum was created to celebrate the history of artificial intelligence, robotics, communication, and even computing , and was opened back in 1990. The American Computer & Robotics Museum has some pretty incredible exhibits, and is definitely a very educational experience. I have been to the American Computer & Robotics Museum five times, and would love to go back one day. The American Computer & Robotics Museum has some pretty cool architecture throughout the building, and definitely is one attraction I would highly recommend checking out.

Makoshika State Park

Makoshika State Park is located in Dawson County, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana. The Makoshikq State Park is about eleven thousand acres in size, and was opened back in 1953. The Makoshika State Park was created to protect the Badlands that consists of different dinosaur fossils, and rock formations throughout the area.

I have been to the Makoshika State Park seven times, and would like to go back one day. The Makoshika State Park has an incredible history to it, and the wildlife you will encounter is truly amazing. The Makoshika State Park has some incredible scenery, and sets the scene to be very romantic, and would make a wonderful spot if you are on your honeymoon.

Hebgen Lake

Hebgen Lake is located in Gallatin County, and has become one of the most popular tourist attractions within Montana. The Hebgen Lake is about twelve thousand five hundred acres in size, and has some of the most incredible scenery. I have been to the Hebgen Lake six times, and would love to go back one day. The Hebgen Lake was opened back in 1959, and has some of the most beautiful sunsets you will come across. The Hebgen Lake sets the scene to be incredibly romantic, and if you are on your honeymoon this is definitely one attraction I would check out.

Montana is extremely beautiful in all sense of the means, and it is definitely one destination I would highly recommend for a family vacation. These are some of the most popular tourist attractions in Montana that I have had the pleasure of being able to experience first hand, and definitely are ones I would highly recommend checking out.
