It is really interesting that in some cases people think that countries that have the most land also have the largest population in the world. Turkey also has land on 2 continents (city of Isatanbul). Muslim is not a religion, but Islam is. Capital of the U.S. is Washington, District of Colombia AKA Washington, D.C. Mandarin and Cantonese are two main languages of China, but Chinese is not a language. Otherwise, very informative

Mandarin is considered their main language but if you read anywhere and if you ask people from China they say that mandarin is a dialect of Chinese hope that helps :)

I think over population is a big issue that we will have to deal with in the not too far future. Many underdeveloped counties never heard of birth control, and when they do, don't practice it. We will run out of clean water and food. As it is now, many places are so overdeveloped that it's always noisy, there is little park space or open space, and natural disasters are making food really expensive. I don't know the answers, but they need to considered.

It's basically China and India and everybody else. They are like two marathon runners a full half mile ahead of the pack. Given how I think the U.S. is already a little overcrowded, I can't imagine living in either of those countries. It is amazing how those populations keep growing and the whole Asian continent doesn't sink.

India conditions are very worst. Some states like bihar,up,and bengal have too much population and they migrate to developed states like Maharashtra and they does lots of problems to local society in case of culture and crimes.

India is not large like USA but population is very high, therefore i think there would be no place for others other than crowded humans in some decades in India.

It is kind of sad, but if you ask a lot of people, most of them will sound really funny , and uneducated, but some people think that the U.S. has the largest population in the world. lol

and thanks for the good words I really appreciate it

Interesting and informative list. I wonder how many realized that the USA is the third most populated country in the world. Good job on this hub.
