Comedy Barn Acts

Each Comedy Barn show is made up of different acts including good ole country music, cloggers, magicians, jugglers, ventriloquists, fire-eaters, comedians, storytellers, and the amazing Comedy Barn Canines. No show is ever the same because each hilarious act interacts and asks for participation from the audience. Now don't get caught not participating because they will point you out!

Comedy Barn Canines

The first act in our show was the amazing tricks of the Comedy Barn Canines. My oldest son was super excited to be one of the dog helpers in this act and bravely stood with 4 other kids while one of the dogs jumped over the entire group. This group of dogs also hula-hooped, danced the waltz, drove a car, and many other fun-filled tricks. It was so heart warming to learn that all these talented dogs were rescued from a local animal shelter.

Jugglers

The second act in our show was a hilarious juggler named Danny the Manny. Out of all the people in the audience, he just happened to pick my husband to hold what he called "the force field" as he spit out and caught ping pong balls with his mouth. I literally had tears rolling down my face as the juggler gave my husband a really hard time during this act. Thankfully, he was a good sport about it all and gave a great performance himself.

Ventriloquists

Another act in our show was a very funny and talented ventriloquist. You would expect a dummy sitting on his lap, but instead he chose two men out of the audience to put on Willie Nelson and Julio Iglesias masks. He then pulled the strings to make it look like they were singing songs. Both of these men really got into the performance which provided for some priceless entertainment.

Other Acts

There were several other acts in the show that are definitely worth mentioning. One of my boys' favorite acts was a storyteller who told a story about a morning on the farm complete with some hilarious sound effects. I definitely got tickled when my four year old could not stop laughing. Another act they really enjoyed was the magician who blew up a kid's shoe in his cleaning machine. I won't spoil the magic trick, but it was so funny to watch how this whole scene played out. Lastly, my oldest son enjoyed the spotlight once more as he showed off a few of his dance moves when the band invited all the kids from the audience to join them on stage.

Comedy Barn Review

As previously pointed out, I highly recommend anyone in the Pigeon Forge area to add a Comedy Barn show to your list of local attractions to check out. I also suggest to bring some extra money because you won't be able to resist the fully stocked concession stand, buying a family photo which they will take as soon as you walk in, and picking up a few fun souvenirs for the kids to remember the show.

The Comedy Barn encourages the audience to take pictures but does not allow video recording. They record every show and these DVDs are available for purchase about 15 minutes after the show ends. We bought one and I am pretty sure my boys have already watched our DVD at least ten times since we have returned from our trip!

From our personal experience at this theater, I guarantee that your whole family will fall in love with this hilarious variety show. If you have any questions or comments about the Comedy Barn or have already seen a show and would like to share your own experience, feel free to leave these in the comment section below.

I remember being in Pigeon Forge years back and enjoying the park and the shows. This looks like a great one to catch if I ever get to go back there again.
