Costas of Spain: Which best suits you?

Spain is an amazing country that is situated in Europe’s Iberian promontory land. This country borders with France in the northeast, rest all other sides it borders with sea waters. It has Atlantic Ocean in the west, Canadian Sea in north and Mediterranean Sea in the south, as a result the sea water created coastal areas, called Costas. The sea waters in these Costas have developed some amazing and sublime beaches in which some honored with blue flags. People from around the world, mainly from United Kingdom, rush to celebrate their leisure time around these Costas.

The Costas in Spain has been categorized according the needs of the tourists depending on various factors such as geo location, physical appearance, weather and seasons. Below are some of the Costas in Spain which are described according to these factors and suitability of vacationers.

Costa Brava

Located in north eastern end of Spain, Costa Brava is a part of Catalonia in Spain. Costa Brava, means rugged coast, hosts some of the best beaches in Spain which are blue flagged. Costa Brava consists of few popular resorts which has beautiful beaches. Primary airport to reach Costa Brava is Girona Airport. Lloret de Mar is the most popular family oriented resort in Costa Brava. Malgrat de Mar is also one of the good resorts in Costa Brava and suitable for people in all ages. This resort is usually on a flat area, so old age people or visitors who are on a wheelchair can adopt this resort. Best time to visit Costa Brava is in between May and September.

Costa Blanca

Located in south eastern coast of Spain, Costa Blanca is one of the most visited Costas in Spain. This Costa consists of miles of coast along the Mediterranean Sea.
