How to Disembark a Connecting Flight
For frequent fliers, usually the long distance flights are pre-booked quite a while before which are seldom connected to one intermediate stop (mostly metropolitan). There are times when the plans are changed at the last moment and it is better to disembark at the intermediate airport from the pre-booked journey, contrary to cancelling the previous journey and making a new booking which is almost always expensive.
The following are some of the ways you could deploy to make a safe and legal attempt to leave in the intermediate spot:
- Every airline without an exception is very concerned about the health and well being of all its passengers. So your best and least questioned way is to fake some kind of illness which may occur spontaneously as well as could not be diagnosed as cent percent faking. The best fakes could be: migraine, nausea and severe vomiting, etc. This might not be very difficult owing to our childhood experiences in schools ;)
- Second being the gentleman's method where you try to enquire from the officials prior to boarding the flight and then try to figure a way out. Success here is totally dependent on the airline policies!
- Third and the most followed method: simply replan your journey and pay the additional fare!
