2014 Disney World Free Dining Promotion Information

Qualifying Arrival Dates: August 31 - October 3 / October 26 - November 1 / November 9 - 20 / December 12 - 23, 2014

Must Book By August 8, 2014

Book a qualifying vacation package for 3 to 14 nights at select Disney World moderate or deluxe resorts, you will receive the Standard / Plus Dining Plan at no extra cost. This dining plan includes 1 counter-service meal credit, 1 table-service meal credit, and 1 snack credit per person, per night of stay. Receiving this dining plan free of charge saves a family of four $158.54 or more per night of stay, based on the regular cost of this dining plan for two adults and two children between 3 -9 years old, families with older children save even more. You can upgrade to the Deluxe dining plan by just paying the difference between the standard and the deluxe plans. Contact us for details.

If you booked a qualifying vacation package for 3 to 14 nights at select Disney World Value Resorts, (All-Stars Music, All-Star Sports, Art of Animation Family Suites or Pop Century Resorts), you will received the Disney Quick-Service Dining plan at no extra cost. The quick-service plan provides two quick/counter-service meals + 1 snack per person, per night of stay. Receiving this plan at no extra cost saves a family of four about $116.04 per night of stay, based on the regular cost of this dining plan for two adults and two children between 3 -9 years old, families with older children save even more. You can upgrade to the Standard or Deluxe dining plans by paying the difference between the quick service dining plan and your preferred dining plan. Contact us for details.

Minimum Requirements: You must book a package that includes a stay of at least 3 nights in one of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels and 2-Day or longer theme park admission tickets.

Remember that qualification is based upon your arrival date, your whole vacation does not need to fit within the promotion dates to qualify for the free dining promotion. If you arrived on the last qualifying day of the promotion, you would qualify for free dining for the full length of your vacation even though it was the very last arrival date that free dining is offered.

* You must pay the $200 deposit at the time of booking to qualify for this promotion. The deposit is fully refundable up to 46 days prior to arrival.

Exclusions: Fort Wilderness campsites, Little Mermaid Standard Rooms at Disney's Art of Animation resort, Disney's Port Orleans Riverside and French Quarter Resorts, Disney's All-Star Movies resort, Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort and all 3-Bedroom Villas are excluded from this offer. The Cabins at the Fort Wilderness campground and Family Suites at Disney's Art of Animation are included in the promotion. Children ages 3 - 9 must order from the children's menu; children under age 3 do not need a theme park admission ticket to enter the parks and do not participate in the Disney Dining Plans.

Qualifying existing reservations falling within promotion days can be altered (subject to availability) to reflect the free dining promotion. We adjust the reservations for all of our clients but you will need to call and ask to have the discount applied - it will not happen automatically - if you booked your trip through someone else. If you do not have us book this for you, be sure to tell your booking agent that you want the free dining promotion; they do not automatically apply promotions to new or existing reservations - you must specifically ask for the discount.

Disney Destinations Free Dining PIN code

Disney Destinations has been sending some people an email with a PIN code for free dining during select dates. These PIN codes are not for the general public and they are non-transferrable. No one seems to know exactly how Disney decides who receives a PIN code but requesting a free vacation planning video from http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/ seems to help.

Very good! We live near Disney so we tend to hop over for the day but every now and again we like to take advantage of some of the resort specials. You have some terrific lenses! Thank you.

"For example, If you were to arrive on March 24th, you would not qualify for free dining even though most of your vacation falls within the qualifying time period. If you arrived on March 31st, you would qualify for free dining for the full length of your vacation even though that is the very last arrival date that free dining is offered." but the dates are Aug - Sep? What am I missing here? Thanks.

I love the Disney Dining plan, we qualified for free dining on our last trip in 2009. I like to do my research so I looked at the menus online before I made any advanced dining reservations - and every meal/ character dining experience was a treat!

Haven't been to Disneyland for almost 20 years. Time to go back with our kids soon.... we are saving! It was awesome fun but my memories of the food are ordinary at best!! I'm going to be seriously looking for advice before we launch forth next time.... and plan my day around the best eateries!! ;-)

We had the meal deal offer about two years ago. We went to most of the character meals. The only one that was nasty was in Epcot in Mexico. The fodd was so bad. It looked gross and tasted bad.

      The quick serve was great.

Weird, I visited your bio and it wouldn't let me leave a comment. Said "Only Squidoo members" could leave comments but I was logged in. Then, I tried a different lens and it said the security word was incorrect even though I tried it 3 times! Anywho, I wanted to mention that your bio says that you "started a travel agent" instead of "started a travel agency." Once you fix, you can delete this post! lol Thanks for visiting my lenses!
