Best Las Vegas Golf Vacations

Updated on July 9, 2015

#1 Bali Hai

If you like golf, Las Vegas does have some very nice golf courses for you to enjoy besides the hustle and bustle of the city. Even though these courses can be difficult to maintain in the high deserts climate, these property owners pay attention to detail. With lush fairways and smooth greens, these elite courses are like an Island Oasis in Las Vegas. Here are my picks for the top five great spots for golfing in Las Vegas. The Fifth course is my choice for an affordable option for golfers on a budget.

  1. Built in 2000 Bali Hai Golf Club is located on the strip! This beautiful golf club, is south of Mandalay Bay. This is a par 72 course with palm trees and golf carts with GPS. They have a putting green, restaurant and lounge.

#2 Las Vegas National Golf Club

Las Vegas National ~ LVN

This course was built in 1961 by Bert stamps, this course is kept in immaculate condition. Many popular and famous golf players have graced its fairways and greens. Do not be afraid of the pom and circumstance because the prices are actually affordable to play here around 100.pp located ten minutes away from the strip it is a tournament ready, par 71 course. The Clubhouse hosts the Rat Pack Bar and Grill with grand views of the course, also inside is the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame exhibit.

#3 Wynn Golf Club

Steve Wynn built this golf course just off the casino, it is a 70 par golf course, beautifully designed with Tom Fazio it features waterfall and lush landscapes. The Wynn Golf Club is right off the strip and easily accessed, and it is the only golf course like this. The golf is a little expensive but to offset the cost, complimentary shoes and Callaway clubs are provided. Its really nice if you have other family who want to stay on the strip and they want to go shopping and you would rather go golf, it ts the best of both worlds on the strip. This is a great place to golf!

#4 Desert Pines Golf Club

This is one of my favorite courses! This par 71 course is wonderful! pine trees and and Carolina golf course feel right near The City of Las Vegas, you can actually see the hotels from the strip in the skyline, but it is about 15 minute drive to get there from the strip. This course features four lakes and a state of the art, two tiered practice center. Desert Pines Golf Club has won several local and national awards and recognition for its beauty and course conditions.

#5 *Affordable Golf * The Las Vegas Golf Club

The Las Vegas Golf Club is one of the oldest golf clubs in Las Vegas founded in 1938 this club features the best golf value in Vegas, you can reserve a tee time with cart for around 60.00 dollars, with this great price, you can afford to get away from the strip and play. It also recently underwent of a five million dollar renovation, so it is really ready for some action!
