- The Leela Kempinski Pune

- The Leela Palace, New Delhi

- Best Western plans 15 new franchisee properties in India

- International hospitality chain Starwood Hotels & Resorts plans to open 14 new hotels in India by 2011 under three brands - Aloft, Westin and Sheraton.
The Country Inn & Suites By Carlson Mysore, India, scheduled to open in 2011

- Intercontinental Crowne Plaza hotel to come up in Ahmedabad

- Alex Resorts and Hotels to launch Golden Lakes at Devanahalli

- 5 Novotel’s for India, all scheduled to open in 2010 and 2011. Novotel Bangalore with 219 guest rooms will be the next Novotel to open by the end of 2010. Opening in December 2011 is Novotel Kolkata, a new 300 room hotel situated in the heart of New Town and close to the upcoming suburb and IT hub of Salt.

- Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach will feature 240 rooms all of which will face the Arabian Sea, a convention facility for 1200 people, with two restaurants, a bar lounge and a spa.

- Ginger Hotel set its foot in Jamshedpur, Jharkhand
