Hyatt Zilara Cancun Review
My husband and I spent a week at The Royal Cancun, now renamed the Hyatt Zilara Cancun, for our honeymoon in Cancun, Mexico. We had an amazing time there and I would definitely recommend this all-inclusive adults-only resort to anyone that loves tropical vacations.
Upon arrival, we were greeted with glasses of champagne. After check-in, we entered our incredible room to find chocolate covered strawberries and a bottle of champagne. It also had a mini-bar, jacuzzi, and rose petals in the shape of a heart on the bed. We were very impressed to say the least! Another really cool feature was the “drop box.” When ordering room service, there is a box near the door that the staff will place your food in instead of having to open the door.
I can honestly say that the food at this resort was the best food I have ever tasted. We could not get enough! There was a wide variety of places to eat there including Italian, Mexican, Asian, and American cuisines. The pool has a swim up bar which is incredibly convenient and very relaxing. The only thing that was a drawback was that you had to wake up early (around 6 am) to reserve pool chairs because the resort is so popular. You could do this by placing a few magazines and towels on the chairs you would like. That is not really a big deal as it is worth it just to see the brilliant sunrise!
We were very pleased with our stay at the Hyatt Zilara Cancun and hope to return again soon. It is a luxurious hotel!
