Las Vegas Pictures

Updated on October 2, 2012

We took a trip to Las Vegas back in 2010 and in this Hub I’m going to show some of these Las Vegas pictures to you. There are so many things to see while in Vegas, if you’re only there a few days you can’t possibly see it all.

The first of the Las Vegas pictures I’m showing is the hotel we last stayed at while in Las Vegas, that is the Mirage hotel. Have nothing but good things to say about the Mirage, our stay was excellent, though we did not spend a whole lot of time in our actual hotel room.

Due to the fact that we could not possibly see all that we wanted to see while in Las Vegas we are going to be making a few trips back there in the future; for sure. I'm also including a video of more of the Las Vegas pictures that we took while we were there, check it out at the bottom of this hub.

If you're looking for other fascinating but cheap things to do while staying in Las Vegas you may want to check out the above link.

Fremont Street

When many people go to Las Vegas they tend to stick to the strip, but you must make a trip to Fremont Street and take in the sights there, especially at night. We have already decided that the next time we go to Vegas we are going to stay at one of the hotels on Fremont Street so we can better take in the night action on Fremont Street.

If you're going to Vegas to gamble it has been said that it is cheaper to gamble down on Fremont Street than it is on the strip; but don't take my word for it, try it for yourself. As for us we are not gamblers. We say we'll spend $50 on gambling each, then call it quits. But, we've always come away with one prize or another so we can't really complain. Played one of the big souvenir slots at one of the hotels and got ourselves a nice hotel collector coin. I like collecting these types of memorabilia so that was fantastic for me.

Las Vegas Pictures of the Strip

We spent most of our time on the strip while we were in Las Vegas, I personally think the best photos are taken at night. Over the past years there have been plenty of hotels built in Vegas, the one to the right is the Paris Hotel, it was opened on September 1, 1999. You know what they say, if you can't afford to go to Paris itself, why not try out Paris Las Vegas?

Be sure to check out the video I have included at the end of this Hub, there are more Las Vegas pictures for viewing in there. I've also included the links to a couple of my other Hubs that include activities that we also did in Las Vegas. We went out to the Hoover Dam with Pink Jeep tours and we also went out to Red Rock Canyon with Scoot City Tours.

Taking a Vegas Tour

There are a lot of tour companies operating out of Las Vegas, after all Vegas is one great big tourist attraction. We went on the Hoover Dam tour with Pink Jeep. The picture to the right was actually in Red Rock Canyon where we went on that tour with Scoot City tours. The service was excellent from both of the companies I have mentioned. I personally prefer to just take a tour where you can leave the driving to the locals.

Thanks for commenting novascotiamiss and teaches. Vegas is a great place isn't it? Like you both say, as do I, you don't have to be a gambler to love going and seeing the sights in Vegas. Getting down there around Christmas time would be a good idea and something I should aim for, I would love to see the lights displays.

I now remember how much I enjoyed Las Vegas when we last visited. We didn't gamble but went for the entertainment and food. So much to see and do. Thanks for the reminder.

I agree with you, Las Vegas is sinfully interesting and fascinating. It's especially beautiful around christmas with all the gorgeous decorations, the downside is that many shows are closed during that time. I'm not into gambling but would still go back for another visit as there are so many things to see and do. Especially the free outdoor attractions luring customers into the casinos are worth seeing.
