Lemlunay Dive Resort – Vacation Haven in Sarangani, Philippines

Updated on September 23, 2010

Do you recognize the name ‘Manny Pacquiao’? He is one of the greatest boxers of all time and aside from being an athlete, performer and product endorser, He is also the congressman of Sarangani Province in the Philippines.

But this hub has nothing to do with him, really.

On our trip to General Santos City the other week, we went to Lemlunay Dive Resort located at Maasim, Sarangani. It is more than an hour ride from the city proper of General Santos City. We went there as planned by a good friend of ours. To be honest, I had no idea what Lemlunay is. I didn’t search for it prior to our trip there, but we were asked to bring proper swimming clothes.

I was amazed upon entering Lemlunay Dive Resort. Not only does the view of the blue see amazing. I found out that aside from their snorkeling and diving activities, they also have a new infinity pool added. For sure this is not a first in the Philippines, but it is my first time to see one in real life!

When we got in there, we took some pictures first. When you are with Filipino Bloggers, it is automatic that they take pictures of the view first before having fun (but taking pictures is a lot of fun too!)

We ate early lunch at the in-house restaurant. We went to the snorkeling spot afterwards. We originally planned to have diving lessons, but we cancelled it due to the lack of time. Our flight was scheduled early that afternoon.

The Infinity Pool is love! We went there after snorkeling and took lots of pictures. Jumpshots to wacky shots! We love the view from the pool to the sea. It simply felt relaxing and calm.

Because we are impressed with Lemlunay Dive Resort’s Infinity Pool, we decided to shoot a short comedy film entitled ‘Sunblock’ :D

If you’re planning to go to Sarangani Province, don’t miss the chance to pass by Lemlunay Dive Resort. They’re currently adding more facilities for their upcoming guests and they also have rooms for those who would like to stay overnight.
